Cómo cuidar y mantener tu estanque durante el verano 🐟☀️| Consejos esenciales

Summer pond care guide covering water filtration, chemical and biological analysis, pump cleaning, and water quality products to keep fish healthy. Learn step-by-step maintenance procedures for a balanced ecosystem.
Foreign. It's been over a week and as you can see, they've been able to clean and cut the vegetation. An interesting topic. You can already see the maintenance we did previously with the vacuum cleaner. The filter is working like a charm. All the pond water is being passed through the filtration mechanism several times a day, which also passes through the VC lamp, which is what really worked the miracle. As you can see, the water is quite clear. It's true that before introducing new fish, we have to analyze the physical and chemical conditions of the water, because this will help us determine when they can enter. In addition to analyzing the water, we're also going to clean the pump, which is important in this whole process. And finally, we're going to take the temperature of the pond, which is something that's essential when you want to introduce new fish. I've just prepared the water analysis samples and I'm already starting to get results. On the one hand, I have the PH values, which are fine at seven, so I will have to raise them a little more because remember that the fish in the pond need a ph between 7.2 and 7.8. One that I do have low is the khs. The kh levels in the water right now are low at 3 German degrees, and we should be between 5 and 8. That is not a problem because we have this type of product that will raise both the PH and the carbonates in the water. And this will mainly favor the better growth of the biological population of the filter. And finally, they will help the fish to have a better color. On the other hand, I have analyzed the biological complexes, a fundamental part of the filtration system, but also of the ecosystem of the pond. You must analyze the ammonium. This ammonium must be zero. You must also analyze the nitrites. They must be between 0 and 0.025 milligrams per liter. And finally, the nitrates. The nitrates as low as you can. Five would be good. Nitrates are usually what cause algae problems. It is essential that you analyze this as soon as the temperature of your pond reaches around 14, which is when the biological part awakens. And that is when you may need to add a product like this, which is basically a biological activator. There are many microorganisms inside, such as bacteria, that help the biological part of your pond to develop correctly. Having analyzed the values, now it is basically time to check the temperature. And based on the temperature I have, I will be able to know if I need to add a biological activator. What I definitely have to use is this alkaline buffer that will help me raise both the PH and the khs. But first I want to clean the pump so that everything can be mixed very well and homogeneously inside the pond. After checking the temperature, I I have 16 to 17 grams. The perfect temperature to be able to add the biological activator and in this way improve the water conditions. Well, now comes the fun part. Now I have to take out the pump and I'm going to wet my hands. I would like to remind you that before doing any maintenance on a pond or aquarium, you have to disconnect the devices from the electricity. I would also tell you to watch a super interesting video that I have in which we do in depth maintenance on the pump, remove the impeller, put a little Vaseline on it, and I explain all the steps you have to follow. And this reminds me of number three. I have to go get the cleaning accessories, the brush and the bucket to be able to give the pump a good brushing. Look at this net. It is an excellent accessory for the pond. You may use it for fishing, but it will also come in handy if you want to take the pump out of the water. Look at the condition of the pump. It definitely needs a good cleaning. I'm going to get some water from the pond to be able to rinse things. I'm going to start brushing this and as soon as it is clean, I'll start working on the pump. Oh my gosh. Look at the condition of the pump, huh? I recommend that you watch the video where we completely disassemble this pump, we do some maintenance and leave it completely clean. That's another thing. Once the pump is cleaned and the rotors and everything are serviced, it's time to put the pump in the center of the pond. It's the best place because that's where all the dirt that's pumped into the filter is going to collect. Remember that last time I cleaned the filter? And today it's the pump's turn. Well, and taking advantage of the net, since it's telescopic, I can put the pump in the center. Once the pump is turned on, everything works wonderfully. It's time to start using this product, the alkaline buffer. A tip. First of all, when you're going to edit it, always use water either from the aquarium or the pond. And I'm going to recommend that you use about half of what the manufacturer recommends in a block. What does this mean? We don't want to raise the PH too abruptly because the animals will suffer. So it's preferable that you use about half, analyze the water in 72 hours, and go back and use the other half. So you're going to do it gradually, and that's how the fish are better off and suffer the least. Three tablespoons, which would be half of what I need, I stir it very well and well. Once the product is diluted, we're going to apply it throughout the entire pond. Well, now it's time for the biological activator. Like any liquid product, I recommend shaking it well. This goes directly into the water and will mix little by little. It will integrate with the filtration part of the aquarium, obviously, and with the rest of the surfaces of what would be the pond lighter. Here you have bacteria that will help you close the nitrogen cycle and improve filtration. And so that it's evenly distributed, we're also going to spread it along the circumference of this pond. That's all for today. Now all that's left is to wait at least a week. Throughout this week, I will continue analyzing the pH for what I told you I had to increase it little by little. Hey, let me ask you a question. What are you more into? Yellow comets? Shubunki Sarasa. And remember that if you have any comments, leave them, and I'm here to help you.
