The video provides detailed instructions on ingredient proportions and dietary recommendations for dogs.
Hi, I'm Adrian from, our loyal friend, veterinary student and blogger. In another video, we talked about the basics of the barf diet. And in today's video, we're going to make a recipe for a dish. In this case, we're going to make a video for a 30 kg dog with low daily exercise activity. In other words, going to give him 2%, which would correspond to 600 grams of total ration. It will include 50% meaty bones, 30% meat and fish, 10% offal, and 10% vegetables and fruits. When we start with the barf diet, it's advisable not to start with the complete menu and to simplify it. And we would do it using chicken meat as the only protein, since it's highly digestible, and a vegetable, for example, such as carrots or cooked pumpkin. In this case, one of the easiest meaty bones to start with is the chicken carcass. We're going to give him 300 grams. Let's put 180 grams of meat, which would correspond to 30%, 10% of offal. That's 10% of offal. It always has to be 5% liver and 5% of other offul that we will rotate, and 60 grams of fruits and vegetables. It is important that we do not base our dog or cat's diet solely on the same dish. We should vary between two or three proteins and also offer fish one day a week. It can also be very interesting to add, for example, other products such as eggs, to the ration. In this case, for a dog weighing about 30 kg, we could give it two or three eggs a week.
