Cotton swabs. Under no circumstances should you use them on your pets as they could damage the eardrum. Hello, experts. I'm Albari, a veterinarian and tutor for the ATV course at the Fouracian Veterinary School. In this video, I'm going to explain how to clean your dog or cat's ears correctly. First of all, what will we need? Gloves, gauze and an ear cleaner. With the animal on the floor or on a table, we'll hold the ear. A squirt of cleaner. We'll massage the base of the ear. We'll repeat the operation. We have to let the animal shake its head so that the liquid and dirt come out. At this point, we'll take a gauze and insert our finger inside the auricle. That would be the entire process. And Simba's ears should now be clean.
