This is a YouTube video titled "EMERGENCIA EN FRANCIA - Sacrificio masivo de perros y gatos" created on December 7, 2017. The video features a single speaker from Animal Expert discussing a serious animal welfare crisis in France caused by the end of government-subsidized contracts, leading to insufficient staff in shelters and the potential euthanasia of many healthy animals. The speaker urges viewers to help by signing petitions, adopting animals, or contacting the French President. The content is a monologue aimed at raising awareness and mobilizing support.
Welcome to this new video from Animal Expert. Today we want to ask for your help. We need your help to find a solution to a very serious problem that is currently happening in France. We need your involvement. With the end of subsidized contracts funded by the French government, animal welfare associations and shelters no longer have enough part time or full time employees to care for all the rescued animals. The employees are overwhelmed and do not have enough human resources to feed, vaccinate and care for the animals they have taken in. What will happen if we do nothing? Hundreds and hundreds of healthy animals will have to be euthanized in France for no valid reason. Imagine what that means. Hundreds of dogs, cats and other animals up for adoption will have to die due to a political decision that has harmed these associations. At Animal Expert, we are shocked and truly outraged by this situation. We are, which is why we have decided to try to help as much as we can. Euthanizing healthy animals should never be an option, which is why we want to ask for help as in the description. We have left several links. You can find a campaign on change.org that you can sign and share a list of kennels and shelters that you can call to adopt and if that is not possible, to publicize the dogs that they have for adoption. Finally, we have left you a link with the contact form to write directly to the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron. Each of you can help. Together, we can stop this real massacre of dogs in France. We thank you in advance for your help. Until next time, experts.
