An 11 year old Husky retriever mix formed an incredible and curious friendship with a sick baby deer. It turns out that she found him one day under the trailer of Pat's car. His human guardian, Pat explained that the deer looked extremely weak and sick and had ticks in his eyes. After seeking advice from a local farmer, she removed over 30 ticks from the deer's right eye, applied Neosporin and gave him goat's milk. While she cared for the deer, her dog Zoe snuggled up and helped clean his fur. According to her, she had never seen Zoe take care of the animal or a human being the way she cared for the deer. Interestingly enough, Zoe is a dog who has spent most of her life outdoors chasing deer through the woods of Virginia and Tennessee to scare them away. However, with this match, she acted like one of her own family. Seeing her act this way is clear proof that dogs have big hearts.
