This is a YouTube video titled "GATOS TÍMIDOS y EXPLORADORES en la CONSULTA DEL VETERINARIO" featuring Javier Pariente discussing six types of cat personalities observed at the veterinary office, specifically describing shy and explorer cats and offering advice on handling them during vet visits. The content is educational and aimed at pet owners.
Every cat behaves differently. At the vet's office, I've identified six types of cat personality. Cooperative, shy, statuesque, untamed, chameleon and explorer. Let's take a look at a few. The shy cat will stay at the back of the carrier with its eyes wide open, pupils dilated and body curled up as if to say, please don't take me out of here. It breathes rapidly due to stress and forcing it out will only make things worse. I recommend using carriers that open at the top and not forcing it. A calm environment, pheromones and lots of gentleness. The explorer cat enters the office as if it were its own. It walks around, climbs on tables, rubs itself against everything. It's not afraid, but it is very curious. It's self confident and quite difficult to keep still. A good treat, like a little churu can help regain its attention when it's time to work. But I don't have time to tell you everything here. If you want to know the six types, check out this video from the YouTube channel Happy Pets and Families.
