Hello and welcome to this new video from animal expert. In today's video, we're going to see how to build a homemade hammock for cats. Don't miss it. To make this craft, we're going to need a large cardboard box, preferably taller than it is wide. We'll also need a couple of tools for gluing and cutting some fabric that we like to make the hammock, and a few paints and decorative elements or cat toys to add to the final result. To start, we're going to make some marks to guide where to cut the box, leaving a margin of approximately 5 cm on all edges. We'll have to repeat the process until we've marked the four sides of the box until we get a result similar to this one. Once everything is marked, we start cutting. When everything is cut out, we'll simply have the structure that holds the box, which will be the structure of our hammock. And now it's time to paint. Remember to paint both the structure of the box and the top. Next, we need to take our piece of fabric and cut it to a size slightly larger than the base of our box. With the square we have, we are going to cut the ends a little, drawing a diagonal in this way and through the four corners. Next, with a sharp object, we are going to make holes in the upper part on all sides of the structure. When we have all the holes made, all that remains is to pass the ends of the fabric through them in order to tie them to the structure, thus letting the fabric hang as a hammock for our cat. And with this, the hammock would be ready to use. Even so, we encourage you to add as many decorations or cat toys as you want. We have chosen to add another piece of fabric as a bed to rest on, as well as some hanging balls so that the cat can play with them. It's time to try it out with our cat, Korpatilit. Let's see what he thinks. And that's it for today's video. Leave a comment and let your cat know what you think of the hammock you have built. And don't forget to give it a like and subscribe to our channel. Until next time, experts.
