Hello and welcome to this new video from Animal Expert. Today we're going to talk about the five most intelligent dog breeds. This short list is based on the ranking theory of Stanley Coren, the creator of the intelligence of dogs. Let's find out which five breeds these are. The Border Collie is considered the most intelligent dog in the world according to Stanley Coren's list. For generations, the Border Collie has been a herding dog, a watchdog and a therapy dog. Fortunately, today many people enjoy the company of this adorable dog simply because of the educational appeal it offers. It is capable of remembering a wide range of commands. We currently know the case of Chaser, a Border Collie capable of identifying 102 different toys. It is a very restless, medium sized dog that needs a proactive and sporty owner. It is a fantastic companion for hiking, running or camping. It also requires a lot of attention, affection and mental stimulation through different intelligence games. The second most intelligent dog in the world is considered to be the Poodle, one of the most famous show dogs. In its early days, the Poodle was an excellent water dog, a retriever of downed game, but it soon gained popularity until it became one of the favorite dogs of the French and British courts. The Poodle has a lot of energy and is skilled at learning tricks of all kinds. In general, we are talking about a very sociable dog that is always willing to please its owner whom it always follows. Happily, it has a very affectionate and sociable nature, which is why the Poodle is undoubtedly one of the favorite dogs in the world. In addition, the Poodle behaves wonderfully with small children with whom it spends long periods of time exercising and enjoying performing tricks in exchange for treats. In third place we have the German Shepherd, a sensitive, intelligent and intuitive dog. For generations, the standard of this breed has been meticulously cared for due to its enormous mental, physical and cognitive attributes. This has had a very negative impact on the health of this noble dog, causing it to be predisposed to suffering from various diseases such as hip dysplasia. It is important to note that this is a breed that needs a lot of affection, intelligence, games, challenging practice and moderate physical exercise. It is not a dog for people with little experience in dog education and training as it can tend to develop behavioral problems if not cared for properly. The Golden Retriever stands out not only for being the fourth most intelligent dog in the world, but but also for its beauty and its affable and good natured nature. It is an energetic dog that greatly enjoys water due to its past as A retriever just like the poodle. It is one of the most popular breeds in the world and it is easy to see why. It is an excellent dog that, if properly trained, will behave wonderfully with other dogs, children and adults. Perhaps for this reason, the Golden Retriever has become popular as a therapy dog for autistic children. It is a very intelligent dog that can take on all kinds of tasks, from being a police dog, detecting drugs to a rescue dog, or simply as a wonderful companion dog. It is very tolerant of small children whom it cares for, protects and lets do silly things with. Finally, we will talk about the Doberman Pinscher, one of the fastest dogs when it comes to automating commands and in general, training. Despite the bad press it has sometimes received, it is a fairly calm and tolerant breed with all members of the family, including, of course, the little ones. Most of the Doberman Pinscher's behavioral problems stem from poor training, lack of physical or mental exercise, and of course, the use of this dog as a property protector. The Doberman Pinscher is a very sociable, active and intelligent dog that detests solitude and boredom. The Doberman Pinscher enjoys exercising and being with its family. It will always take care of them. It is a noble and beautiful dog that is always vigilant and attentive. That's it for today's video.
