That said, you should never overindulge in treats when feeding your cat. You should give them to them on very, very special occasions and simply as a reward, never as a substitute for their usual food. First, we will start with the ones that are of lower quality and we will finish the video talking about the ones that are of higher quality. And at the end of everything, I will make my ranking according to what I consider based on quality prices. Is that clear? Okay, let's get started. The first product I'm going to talk about is called Crunchy Baits from Planet Pet. As you can see, these types of products also come with that famous claim that I told you about in the Mercadona lobby, which says they're good for hairballs. Although I told you at the time that you probably shouldn't trust these types of claims too much. This is the product that I consider to be of the lowest Quality of the ones I'm going to talk about today because its composition first contains cereals and then meat. And meat products start to appear on the label and then fats too. I've classified it as a healthy product because it doesn't have any additives. It only contains vitamins as nutritional additives. So it doesn't have preservatives, colorings or anything like that. The amount of protein is 31% and the amount of fat is 20%. So it has a bit of a high fat content for my taste. To be honest, you can buy one that is of higher quality, although if you end up giving them this one, it's not that bad. It's good, but nothing more. That's why I think it's the one with the lowest quality of the ones. I'm going to show you the next one. The one I'm going to tell you about is called jumpscad by Vitacraft. This one's not too bad bad in terms of composition either. If we start reading the label, which is the first thing we have to do, we see that it has 71.2% meat and meat products. I've listed it as the second lowest quality, I think because the by products appear very early on the label and therefore those are things that we don't consider desirable for cats. These treats also have colorings and preservatives, which also doesn't make any sense when you're going to give your cat a treat, because what your cat is going to like is for it to taste good, not for it to be a very pretty color. So I think that these types of products don't need to include these colorants.

But if this one has more products, why do you put this one better than the other one? The first thing that appears in the other one is cereals. That's why I put this one first, because the first thing that appears in this one are protein and meat elements. It really is a very, very processed product like the other one, but they are in a much lower proportion. Look, vegetables, vegetable, protein extracts and fish and fish products. It comes in second place and it also has 2.5% salmon. So. Well, it's really not that bad in terms of composition. Although it would be nice if instead of its animal products, it only had meat. As always, from what appears here in front, which is a world of color and fantasy. Although in reality the percentage of salmon that you are giving your cat with these treats is only 2.5%. As with many of them, you will find here on the back label the number of treats that you can give them per day. And many times you ask me how many you can give them. Well, look, in this case you can only give them five per day. But that does not mean that you have to give them five of these every day. Please do not do it because as I have said, they are treats and you should only use them in very exceptional situations. And let's go to the third one below in terms of quality. And some of you who know this brand will ask me but how come true origin is not higher in the ranking which always has very good quality products? Well, let me explain everything. I'm telling you here is obviously a good quality product. But. But I've ranked this one because although it's true that the only thing it contains is chicken meat meal, salmon meal, potatoes and peas, fresh salmon is already in a very, very distant position. The first thing it contains are its own products because they're actually flowers, even if they're made with meat. That's why I've ranked it this way. Also, I really like that this treat has absolutely no additives or preservatives. Therefore it's a treat that's healthy for your pet. But I don't think it's the best one I'm going to show you today in this case because the products are probably of better quality. They're you can give more of these treats per day than in the others above. For an average cat weighing 3 or 4 kg, you can give them up to 15 per day. Although I never recommend that you reach this 15 per day. You only have to keep it for a special occasion treat because anything extra you give them in treats is extra calories on top of the feed you're giving them. And in the end that's going to make your cat gain weight. And now we're starting to get into the tricky part. Well, tricky for me since I've had to classify them because all the products I'm going to tell you about from now on are of the highest quality. And what's different from the previous ones from here on out?

Well, because I consider these to have a very top notch composition. Okay, from now on what I'm going to tell you about is top of the range and we'll start with Alpha Spirit. This brand usually makes very high quality products. And I'm going to tell you about these cat treats in particular. I've put these treats in this position because they have 85% fresh meat and fresh fish. In other words, this is almost all meat and almost all fish, logically made into a paste and shaped to be treats for your cat. The protein it contains is approximately 32% and it is in this position and it is not higher simply because it has perhaps a little more fat than the rest, but not for any other reason. In this case, the amount of fat it has is 8%.

And why is it processed? Yes, of course. And because it is processed. But most treats and animal feed are processed. The composition of Alpha Spirit is fresh meat and fresh fish, 30% free range chicken, 25% turkey, sprouted legumes, glycerin to make the pellet and dehydrated algae yeast products, and ductin sulfate, which is this strange word. Ductin sulfate is a compound that helps joint health. And that's it. As I always recommend that these are given only sporadically. In this case, they are very, very small pellets that are not going to be a great treat. They are going to give your cat a lot of calories. Therefore, in this case, perhaps you can give him maybe three, four at the most. Sounds good to me. Now, let's talk about Planet Pet Tuna and salmon and Tuna and Shrimp Sachets. But we've talked about this brand before.

Of course, because the important thing isn't to look at the brand. You always have to look at the label because the brand can be the same and can make products with different qualities. Turn the product over and identify on the label which products you should be giving your cat.

Which products should you give your cat? Well, that's the eternal question. Well, look at what I emphasize on the labels. That they shouldn't be animal products, that they usually come from fresh meat or fish. That you find these fresh meats and fish first on the label because the sooner you find them, the higher the proportion of these products the food will have. That it doesn't have additives or that the additives it does have are nutritional, such as vitamins and such. That it doesn't have preservatives or colorings. All these types of ingredients will tell you that a product is good or suitable for you to give to your cat. But this is true for snacks and also for feed. Please. I'm doing this so that you become aware and so that you know how to analyze the label, not so that you can start sending me photos and photos or the text of the label that you see on your cat's feed, so that I can tell you if it's good or bad, because obviously I can't do it with all of them. And it's much better for you to know how to identify it for when I'm not around. Of course. Well, let's get back to it. Jose, you're losing me. I've put this product here, although it can also really be considered as animal feed. The thing is that it's usually sold as if it were a snack, because they're very small sachets. And you're not really going to feed your cat with this. Because I think that for a normal cat weighing four or five kilograms, you need four or five sachets to feed them. In other words, a pack and a half of these. It doesn't make sense. I've put it in this position because it's a product that has quite good, good quality. It has 55% tuna and 4% shrimp. In addition, it only has 1% rice. And then it has 40% water because it's a wet diet, that's why it has more water. And the tuna with salmon has 55% tuna, 4% salmon and 1% rice. Therefore, it's a very suitable product to give to your cat. It has 13% protein and only 0.5% fat. It actually has very little fat for this to serve as a complete food. And that's precisely why I see it more as a treat. And from this moment on, our top three begins. And with the bronze medal, double or something, please, we find wolf. This product, the truth is, is a very good quality. The thing is that it has a slightly higher price than the rest, although it is also true that the sachet is much larger. It is 100 grams. So I think you will have to give it much more time. Logically, the reason it is in third position is because it has a composition of 92% chicken and 1% seafood extract. And the third component is glycerin, which is what gives it its shape. Well, a bit like strips. As for analytical components, we found that it has 40% crude protein and 4% crude fat. Therefore, it is a product that has a very, very good composition. You might say it has a dog or a wolf drawn here. But hey, if you notice, this type of product is also good for cats and dogs. Therefore, if you live with a dog or a cat in your home, you can buy it and it can serve as a treat for both. It doesn't have coloring. Well, this is super orange. It doesn't have coloring. You probably already know the brand plainsped, but in this case it is duck strips. As I said before, you do not only have to look at what it says here. If you only look at the brand, you may end up saying, well, the SP plan that Carlos told me about is very good. And if you notice, in my ranking, the lowest quality and the second highest quality are from the same brand, but on the label they don't look that similar. The ingredients of these duck strips are only duck meat, nothing else. It doesn't have any additives by products or other ingredients, just duck meat. They are pieces of dried duck meat. Only 100% duck meat.

Only duck meat. Only duck meat. It deserves the silver medal. But it's true that I give it a negative rating because they show me an adult kitten and a small kitten and the label says it's not suitable for kittens under nine months old. But anyway, in terms of nutritional composition, it has 42% protein, 23% moisture and 3% fat. That's why I recommend it. Well, are you ready? Because we reached the first position and you will tell me after what you just told me, that the last prize only had duck. What else is left for me? What can I give him? You can give him a tuna. This is the product that I have found with the highest quality, in my opinion, in the pet food store that is closest to my house. Well, let's go directly to the composition. I don't know if you need to read it, but it is 100% tuna loin. Additives 2 points. It has no additives. Analytical crude protein, 23% crude fiber, 1% crude oils and 0.5%, crude ash 3% and humidity 75%. It is directly tuna loin that has been taken from the tuna. They have given it a heat treatment as if it were canned, and you have it directly so that you can give it to your cat. As you can see here, the only thing you see is the meat of the tuna loin and nothing else. The package has 30 grams and they tell you on the label that you can give it to your pet at any time as a treat or reward or as part of a balanced diet. Man, if you have to feed your cat tuna fillets of this size, you're going to leave a kidney. Obviously, there are an endless number of products on the market that I probably don't even know about. But with these products you can get an idea of what you have to give your cat as a treat, and as I'm saying, only in exceptional situations, but never as a substitute for a complete diet. Well, that's it for the quality ranking. But since I know that this is also of interest to you, I'm going to make a quality price ranking so that you can adapt the possibility of giving your cat a good treat to your financial situation. The first of them, if I don't forgive it for being made with cereals, is Planet Pet Crunchy. It costs 1.49 and is not the cheapest, of course, therefore, the one I recommend the least based on its quality price. The second one, the Vitacraft Jumpscap. This product is of lower quality than the rest and its price is not that low either. It costs 1.65. Then I would go to the True Origins one because it costs 1.95, it only has 50 grams and its ingredients are not the best quality of all the ones I have shown you. Although it is the most expensive, it is also the one with the largest quantity in the package, specifically 100 grams. In addition, its ingredients are of quite good quality, therefore it deserves this position. Continuing with Planet Pet Sachets, they come in 200 grams and cost just €3.11. What's more, it's a treat that can even be used as a substitute for a wet cat diet. The silver medal in the quality price ranking goes once again to Planet Pet. The Duckstrips in this case, as I've said, they're of excellent quality and only cost 99 cents. They keep for a long time and you'll have a bag so you can give your cat treats for quite some time. And at this point you'll already know which one is at the top of the ranking. The first is Alpha Spirit because It only costs €1 and comes in 35 grams. Its ingredients are of very good quality and they also come in very small pellets so that when you give your cat a treat, you don't overdo it by giving it too much.
