Qué es el DOG DANCING - Mejora el VÍNCULO CON TU PERRO

Alberto Yular Aragone from the Green Dog Association explains dog dancing, a sport that strengthens the bond between dog and owner while improving behavior and rehabilitation. The video covers communication techniques and includes information about upcoming courses and demonstrations.
Hello, I'm Alberto Yular Aragone. I'm part of the Green Dog Association. We're dedicated to rehabilitating dogs from shelters and animal protection organizations through animal assisted interventions, fairs and exhibitions, and also sports such as dog dancing, which is the topic we're going to discuss today. Dog dancing is a little known and little known sport in our country, but it does exist in many other countries such as England, Italy and the United States. It's a sport that combines the skills of both the person and the dog, their coordination, and ultimately the bond they have together. It's a very, very complicated sport to perform due to all the technical characteristics it involves. It's probably one of the most complicated sports in existence because it combines activities, skills and techniques from many other sports disciplines. Dog dancing involves combining different skills of a dog with a person to perform a choreography to the rhythm of music. As we'll see at the end, it sounds like fun and can be. The most important thing about this sport is not that the dog knows how to do many skills or that the dog can do handstands, somersaults or whatever. What matters is the bond, the trust, the communication that you have with the dog. It combines canine skills. Canine skills is also a very useful sport for solving problems such as dog behavior, insecurity and aggression. In fact, I'm going to give you an example in a moment. We're going to show Rocky, who was a dog that had many aggression problems. He was a very aggressive dog and thanks to Doc Dancing, he was rehabilitated. Doc dancing, this sport is one of the sports that I like to practice the most with dogs, especially because of the demands and creativity that this sport requires of you. This sport has different modalities. It has different exercises to do within a choreography that add up points. There are official competitions, world championships and dog dancing, although our country does not have an official dog dancing team for this sport. So we do not participate in these world championships, although the expectation is that we will soon. Since the level in Spain is starting to be quite high. Let's do a sample of what dog dancing is and think about it. What matters least are the skills. What matters most is communication. Seeing how I ask something of the dog and the dog responds according to my expectations. That is communication. We have to keep in mind that many behavioral problems arise in dogs due to a lack of communication. It is as if I lived in a house with a person who speaks German and I did not know German well. We would probably never trust each other nor be able to communicate or feel comfortable around each other. Therefore, skills such as dog dancing seek that communication and that joint bond that makes you and the dog feel comfortable. Let's do a sample. Let's see some of the skills that a dog that does dock dancing can have. And we'll have to put all this together to the rhythm of music and with a little bit of grace in order to put on a good show.
Sam.
Well, if you want to know a little more about what Doc Dancing is, you know that you can contact us through doblewalpero Verde Es again, also through Facebook. The Alpero Verde Bar would also like to tell you that in May, we are doing a course on canine skills and dock dancing for any owner who is interested in starting to practice this sport and see how far they can go as a rock. Until next time.
