What's going on, everyone? Casey Adams here. And welcome back to the Rise of the Young podcast, your new favorite business podcast. If you're new here, my name is Casey Adams, 18 year old entrepreneur and CEO of Build you'd Empire. And before we get into today's show, we have an important announcement. And that is today's new show is a new segment that I'm excited to release and it is known as five minute Friday. Pretty much what that is is a show about purpose and execution. Because I know and you know, there are so many podcasts out there that have amazing stories, amazing interviews, the Rise of the Young show included. But sometimes I believe you just need an ounce and a dose of inspiration or motivation or something to get you going and fired up. So that's what today is going to be about. But before we get into it, please leave a rating and review on the itunes podcast app. Let me know what you think about the show as well as follow Rise of the Young on Instagram and stay updated on the storyboards coming out every 100 reviews. So that being said, I'm excited about today. I hope you are as well. Let's get into the show. Okay, so I'm going to start the stopwatch right now and get into it and real quick before I do that. Five minute Friday is about execution and giving you an ounce of inspiration or motivation or just tactics for you to execute on. I want you to really think after this show. You know, this is a show that is only going to be about five minutes, including the intro and outro, so maybe 10 minutes max. And I want it to be something you walk away from after the show. You pause for a second, whether that you're walking or you're driving or whatever you're doing throughout your day. Take a moment after this show and you'll know exactly why. Once you hear these five things that I'm going to go over, really think about what I'm asking you because I believe we don't all think about these things and if we do, we would be way more productive. So you may be wondering what those five things are. And that being said, let's get into the show. I'm going to start the stopwatch on my phone right now and get right into it. Alright, time's running. Number one thing, ask yourself what is the number one thing that you need to accomplish today that will help you achieve your goal? This is number one of five. And if you understand what the show is about today, here's what I want you to do. I'm gonna repeat number one, ask yourself, what is the number one thing that I need to accomplish today? And if you're listening to this in the morning or maybe it's the evening, I really want you to reflect on the number one thing that you need to do today. Not the number two, not the number three, not the things that you kind of have to do like respond to your emails. But what is the number one thing that you must do today to help you level up in your life? Ask yourself that. Answer it. 10 seconds left until one minute's up and then we're moving on to number two. But ask yourself that question. Answer it back on to number two. Number two, if I get that task done, then what will I do next? Because here's the thing, a lot of us may have the one thing to do, but the truth is, if you can knock it out in the morning, what is the thing you're going to do next? What is the next focus point that number one must have to do next? Because the truth is, everything's about compounding. How you do anything is how you do everything. And if you complete number one, it's time to move on because you've already completed that task and you don't want to get stuck on just the Alright, I did that, now let me chill or now let me hang out. You always want to have the next action step and the next action plan. So that being said, I'm going to repeat it before we move it to number three. If you get the number one thing done, then what will be next? And once you answer that, you will already be well on your way to a productive day, a productive life and a productive future. So do that and write it down. And that leads me to number three. Number three, what if I don't get this done? How will I feel? And here's the thing, I have one minute to explain this. A lot of us, including myself, we get down on ourselves because we don't accomplish tasks. But the truth is, what will you be feeling if you don't accomplish those things? Are you going to be feeling sad? Are you going to be feeling regretful? And if you are, change that. Since you already know how you're going to feel if you don't get it done, that should give you every ounce of inspiration to go get it done right after this show. No waiting, no hesitation, just go. Whether it's the smallest thing or the biggest thing, understand that if you don't get it done, you will feel a certain way. And once you identify that, that should help you and fuel you to make it happen faster. So once you do that, number one, number two, number three, you will be way, way, way on your way to crushing the day. And that leads me to number four. What are you grateful for? Take a moment to think, ask yourself. Alright, yes, we have so many tasks to accomplish, we have feelings, we have so much things going on in our life, in our business. But the truth is, take a moment since you're listening to this podcast and ask yourself, what are you truly grateful for? Whether that's your family, your friends, your son, your daughter, your business partners, whatever it is, just for life, you never know. We all are grateful for different things. For me, I'm grateful for my family. I'm grateful for the fact that I'm in Virginia right now, about to go to the beach tomorrow with my family. It's going to be an amazing time and I'm grateful for the little things. So ask yourself, what are you truly grateful for? And if you need to go back and listen to this again, please do. Because I'm rushing through this because it is five Minute Friday and it's a tactical roadmap to helping you crush the day and overall conquer your life. And that leads me to number five, the last minute of the show. What are you excited about? Because the truth is, if you get your tasks done, you understand how you feel. If you don't get them done, you figure out what you're grateful for. You do all these things. The truth is, we live off excitement, we live off passion, we fuel off those things. And if you're not identifying what you are excited about, for me, like I just said, I'm excited to spend time with my family. I'm excited to go to the beach this week. I'm excited to just put out this podcast on this Friday evening at 11 o'. Clock. Whatever it is, identify what you're excited about, write it down, do more of it, because that will truly drive you to the next level. And we have four. No, we have 20 seconds left until this five minutes is up. And then I'll wrap it up. But just to wrap up these last 20 seconds, repeat those five things. Listen to this twice. Understand that if you do these things and genuinely write them down and ask yourself those questions, you will be ahead of your competition. And if you do that, you will win. Let's go. Stop. Alright, guys, so that was exactly five minutes on the clock, one through five. I know it was fast. Like I said, if you need to go back and listen to what I said, what I spoke about, the tactical pillars that I laid out, then go do that, please. Because five Minute Friday is about helping you not just listen to content and absorb content and then get on with your day, but to truly give you a moment to pause and think about something that I told you. Because the truth is, I absorb content so much. Whether that's Instagram or podcasts or reading, whatever it is. But the biggest lessons I've learned are the books that call me out and they say, yo, shut this book and go execute. And the times that I've done that, it has worked out in my favor. So I want this podcast today. No matter what day you're listening to it, no matter what time of day you're listening to it, Understand that if you do the five things I just told you, you will crush the day, you will crush your life, and you will win. So just to recap, number one, ask yourself, what is the number one thing that you need to accomplish today? Number two, if you get that done, what will you do next? Number three, what if you don't get this done? How will you feel? Number four, what are you grateful for? Take a moment to think about it. Number five, what are you excited about? This is a quick episode. I understand, but those five bullet points are powerful. If you execute them, you listening to this podcast is not going to help you. I would say do the next thing you got to do. You doing that is gonna help it. So turn off this podcast as soon as it's over and go execute. We all know you could go to the next podcast. We all know you could go back on Instagram. But the truth is, what do you need to get done today? Do it. That's why you're listening to podcasts, that's why you're listening to shows. Hopefully the people you are surrounding yourself with are influencing you to do the things you got to do, but if not, change your circle of influence. And that being said, this week I'm heading to the beach. We have amazing episodes coming soon, so make sure you stay tuned. For those who are new here, make sure you drop a subscribe button, make sure you follow me on Instagram CaseyAdams 1. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday we are putting out new episodes and it's only going to go up from here. So that being said, thank you so much for listening to today's episode of the Rise of the Young podcast. I will talk to you soon. Go crush your day. Peace.
