What's going on, everyone? Casey Adams here. Welcome back to the Rise of the Young podcast. This is day three of uploading straight every single day. It's April 25th and I got some exciting news for you guys. So as you can see, if you're listening to this podcast on itunes that I'm gonna say it with joy. We got a new podcast cover. And yeah, if you check out the podcast cover, as you can see, it's different. It got some new letters, it got some new pictures, it got some new backgrounds, it got a little emoji in the bottom left hand corner called the DM slide emoji, which I'll get into. And I'm super pumped up about it because moving forward on this podcast, I'm going to be doing things differently than before. Meaning as I've said previously, I've really only done interviews the last, I would say year with world class entrepreneurs and I haven't been talking to the microphone as much as I'd want to. And that's gonna be what's happening from here on out. And I just wanna give you guys a brief update today because I literally have 10 minutes to do this podcast. We're gonna be calling this podcast the 10 Minute Thursday. Huge shout out to Drama for giving me the idea. I don't know if we're gonna continue with this, but for now we got 10 minutes because I have to fly back to Florida, Phoenix today. I have to head to the airport in about 10 minutes and. Yeah, so stay tuned. It's gonna be quick, it's gonna be powerful. I have some special guests that I'm gonna bring on for the show today and it's gonna be a good time. So that being Said, before we get into it, I mentioned this briefly, the DM slide emoji. You may be asking me, what exactly does that mean? And I'm gonna say this again because if you're not on the wave of the, then you should be very excited that you're listening to this podcast because you're about to get some value right here. So every single person that you've heard on this show, the rise of the young podcast, has came from an Instagram direct message. And if you've seen me speak at different events, you've heard me say this, and it's literally the most simple thing you can do. But it's not simple if you don't apply it. And what I mean is by having the right scripts, having the right ask, the, the right positioning and overall having a personal brand that gives someone the reason to get back to you when you reach out to them. So if you see the podcast cover, like I said, that little red mailbox emoji, you might be asking me why is that on your podcast cover? And that is because I am literally cementing it to my brand. Because I want people to know that you're only a DM away from getting that next, I would say opportunity, or getting that next world class person on your podcast or speaking at that next event or whatever it is. Literally Instagram DMs is the most amazing form of communication and if you're not leveraging that, you need to. So that's why I put it on the podcast cover and that's what I want you to do. And the main thing I want you to know throughout this 10 minutes is that you have full access to DM me. I literally want every single person listening to this podcast to send me a DM on Instagram because I'll get back to you and be like, dude, you said you'd get back to me through the podcast. What's up? And I will literally get back to everyone because I know the value of responding to people as well as reaching out to people. And it's a 5050 game. As much as I wanna get people on my podcast, I have to understand that I have to reach back out to people like yourself. If you're reaching out to me and you have an opportunity or a question for me, it's equally the same in my eyes in terms of the value that I'm giving to you and the value that I want to get from other world class people. So that being said, that's just a quick lesson today and before I head to the airport. I have two OGs with me here today, one being my brother, Cam Adams, AKA OG Cam, and as well as Anthony Bose, who I talked about on the previous podcast about why I canceled on Gary Vee. And as you know, he is an artist, one of the most phenomenal artists in the world, AKA Modern Picasso. And I'm going to bring Anthony on first. So, Anthony, why don't you walk across my room since we're in Virginia here and say what's up to the listeners.
What's up, guys?
Get a little closer with people.
We're trying to spend some time with Casey before he heads back out of the state.
Yeah. So, Anthony, people heard the Gary Vee story. They're familiar with our relationship. What kind of art do you do, bro? Like, what is art? Like, what do you do? Tell the people.
Well, I originally started painting when I was super young. I've always been doing art for as long as I can remember. Now I'm just trying to do. It's like, it's what I do. I can't really picture myself doing anything else.
So art is life, overall.
Art is life.
Yeah.
It's funny, though. Cause, like, if you follow Anthony on Instagram, I'll make sure I link it down below nthonybose. Like, literally, if you check out his art on Instagram, like, you'll literally be like, whoa. Like, straight up. Like, literally. Go to his Instagram right now as you're listening to this podcast. And his recent picture is a picture of me next to a portrait of Wiz Khalifa and his son Sebastian. And he just finished the portrait. How long did it take you?
I spent, like, over 350 hours on that one.
350 hours straight. Meaning, like, you painted for 30 minutes, you tracked it, and then boom. And then you tracked another 30, then you tracked an hour, 350 hours straight. And the biggest thing that I've learned from Anthony is that, like, persistence and focus is the key, especially when you're doing paintings. Because if you paint half a painting, no one's impressed, right? It's about what you finish at the end of the day. And you should definitely check out his art. And like I said in the last podcast, if you're ever looking for custom portraits or anything that has to do with having an amazing painting, use Anthony, because he's an og. He is hustling, he's doing his thing. And trust me, you don't want to sleep on him because he's going to be the biggest artist in the world. And to have a portrait from Picasso when he was living worth multiple millions of dollars today. So think wisely, my friends. But that being said, Anthony, where do people follow you? What do you want them to know about what you're working on? Where is your mind now? What do you want the people to know about Anthony Bose?
Well, I really want to say thank you for plugging me like that. Like I have such a. Like I have super high standards for myself. I still don't think my work is that great. Like I'm always going to be trying to learning, like I'm reading every day, trying to get better, do my techniques. But I really want to say thank you.
Plug me. Let's go and get this. So I was supposed to leave this morning and I had a flight at like 9am so me and Anthony said peace out last night while we were grabbing dinner and my flight canceled on me this morning and I had to rebook it for later in the day, so. So, dude, we got more time together, bro. We got to shoot some hoops. We made some moves happen today. But that being said, bro, I'll see you in June because that's when I'm coming back to Virginia, guys. I'm living out in the desert now in the middle of Phoenix, so it's amazing. Shout out to John Malott, Joshua Denny, the build your empire team. And that being said, we got four minutes left on the clock. Who else do we need to bring into here? You heard that? You heard that, right? You're waiting patiently right now because I have someone that I need to introduce to you right now that you probably haven't heard much from before. Maybe on my Instagram stories, maybe not. His name is Cam. C, A M. Cam Adams, my brother, AKA OG Cam. Cam, say what's up to the people.
So guys, hope you're having a great morning and hopefully started off well.
Let's go. So that being said, Cam, what's happening soon? Why are you going to la? What's poppin out there? What are you excited about? Just what's going on in Cam's life.
In my life right now. I'm just trying to be more like in the music scene because I have found my passion after I got arrested in August and it was a big eye opener for me and now I'm just trying to find my passion and it always been music my whole life. So I'm just. I'm just trying and trying, working, getting better and you know, hopefully something happens.
Yeah, 100% it will. You gotta. You gotta maintain that positive attitude. But for the people that are listening. So he's getting involved into the music business, Whether that's a rapper himself or managing people or getting into the social media scene of music. He's going to be diving into that scene heavily when it comes to internships. And if you're listening right now and you have any sort of connections in the music space or you believe you may be the person that could introduce into a new opportunity, let him know. It's ogcam on Instagram, two GS, two Ms. I'm gonna link it down below. But before that, if you're going to the event that I talked about two days ago on the podcast, I talked about the Build you'd Empire Young and Reckless event happening in LA May 18, 2019, and Cam will be there, as well as my other brother, Cody Adams. They're both going to be there. I know you heard from Cody a couple days ago and today you're hearing from Cam. But, Cam, what are you excited about at the event? I know you know more than the people know right now, but they will know soon about what's gonna happen, but give them some insight scoop of what's going on.
Yeah, it's gonna be a crazy event. A lot of people's gonna be there. A lot of communicating, a lot of getting to know each other.
Networking, bro. You know, it's networking. It's. It's good people, good locations, good vibes, good energy, and overall, just good conversations. Like Drama said in the ad that we're about to put out there about cheesy nachos, about white teas, about messy hair, about Waking up at 1:37pm, all the stuff that you're about to see on this video. Me and Drama did Cameron. He's aware of what's already about to happen, so I'm excited he's gonna be there. And if you're at the event in la, you'll be able to meet Cam if you have not already. I'm super pumped up about that and I know he's excited to meet you as well. And other than that, Cam, keep doing your thing. Stay og. Let's go. So there you have it. You heard from Cam, you heard from Anthony. I just wanted to put this podcast out right before I leave because I told you guys I'm gonna be putting out three podcasts a week. And. And honestly, like I said in the last podcast, I'm going to be doing it every single day just because I had a mental transition of I didn't post on the Rise young podcast from February 14th until April 23rd. And I have no excuse to why that didn't happen. And I'm just literally scratching that itch. And I'm going to be going so hard on this podcast every single day. Simple conversations. Whether that's a 10 minute episode, a 25 minute episode, or a three hour episode, you will see. The schedule will eventually be, I would say meticulous, but for now it's just going to be good conversations, good people and stories overall. And that being said, it just hit 12 o' clock in Virginia and I have to go head to the airport and I can't miss my flight because I got to get back to Phoenix. So that being said, if you're listening to the podcast right now, I just want to say thank you to listening and the one thing that I ask and huge shout out to Andy Vercella for, for this advice, the one thing I ask is that you share this podcast with a friend. Whether that's someone that's in the music space, like my brother Cam, or maybe someone that's an artist like Anthony, whether that's an actual artist or an artist in their own way, a musician, whatever it is, share it with someone that needs it. Share it with someone that's just getting started on their journey. Because as you see, this is Raz the Young. And I want you to get involved with the movement and overall, just share it with someone that you believe this could value and impact. So that being said, you can literally follow Anthony Cam. Everything will be down below in the description and more information coming soon on the young and reckless Build you'd empire event happening May 18th in Los Angeles. You're going to want to stay tuned for that. It's going to be insane. But that being said, leave a review on itunes, let me know what you think. Send me a dm. And that being said, I will talk to you guys on the next episode. Peace.
