Camille D. Jamerson argues that entrepreneurs should keep new ideas private and off social media while developing them. Hey, and welcome to this edition of Mogul Moments. I'm your host, CDJ of CDJ and Associates. Today we're going to talk about something that you may not think is a problem, but it very well could be the very thing that's holding you back from becoming the mogul that we know that you can be. You know, if you follow social media at all, have you ever read posts where you felt like, "Okay, you guys are talking too much, you're sharing too much, you just doing the most." Yeah, me too. But here's the thing, If you're trying to build something significant, there are going to be times and seasons where you kind of need to go underground, meaning stop talking, stop talking, stop sharing, stop telling people what it is that you're about to do because you're not asking for permission. Just do it. When it's time for it to jump off, let it jump off, right? But you have to go what I call stealth. In stealth mode. If you follow businesses, some businesses all of a sudden, it seems, they just break out with a new product. It's not all of a sudden. They've been working under, on it, under possibly a fake name, you know, Project Brainstorm or what have you, for a very long time, and then when it's time for them to reveal their product, it seems as if it was all of a sudden, but in fact they have been working on it for a very long time. You need to approach your business and the ideas surrounding your business the same way. Be stealth, be underground, stop talking so much. There's some cards you need to hold close to your vest. There's some things you shouldn't share until it's time for it to actually happen, or even that you've got things trademarked or legally protected. Protect yourself, go stealth, be quiet. Try it. Hope you enjoyed this episode of Mogul Moments. Come back next week, I'll have something new for you.
