Yeah, we hired for Built to Lead.
You know, skill, passion, effort. We were trying to really drill down.
On, you know, the whole purpose of.
Me starting my company was really to.
Create an organization where I could be.
With people that were passionate and like.
Minded and shared the, the same, you know, opus.
And yet, you know, we could uniquely, you know, be ourselves too, but, you.
Know, you know, one uniquely connected group.
It's funny, I, I was telling Guru beforehand that you have this, these clients and they're not really all connected. And I always love looking back and kind of just reminiscing and like watching employees and getting a front row seat to them changing their lives. Using Build to Lead as the catalyst, coming into practice, doing the hard work, and then like, you get to be part of it because, like, they see.
You as the leader.
But like, when you have a client friend, and I always use you as the example because I remember walking into your building the first time and I felt like I was walking into your opus. I felt like I was like, I mean, I could feel it because I knew you and I knew what you were trying to do and you did it. You actually did do it. And now like, when I see all the other properties going up and I see what you've done as you've changed expressions with your opus, you probably have, from my perspective, the best example of like a living opus that you can walk into. I don't know, like, was that the goal? Is that what you're trying to do?
Well, I mean, no, but, you know, I mean, I sort of. But I didn't really think about it that way. It's just I. I was in the business of building physical spaces. And so, you know, I got the. I had the luxury of applying everything that was in my opus into a physical space where you could outwardly see it. You know, it wasn't something that was just being talked about or embodied. It was on the walls. It was every. It was, you know, all of it. So, yeah, I guess it's probably unique that way. I mean, you know, the opus was to build communities of high design around, well, being and creative expression and impact.
And so some of that you can.
Literally see in the physical space.
Right?
Hopefully you feel it and then, you.
Know, if you are a part of the community, you're. You're really experiencing it.
