Becoming Built to Lead

Chad Silverstein explains Built2Lead's core belief: personal growth is the limit of what you can help others achieve. Leading means doing the hard work yourself, not just instructing others. He points to the Build Sleep community as case studies of transformation.

It's one of my favorite things about Built2Lead is that we believe that you can't take anyone further than you've taken yourself. It's true for a client, true for a builder, and it's something that we hold dearly to our heart. And we understand that work in process is never-ending. You're constantly building, you're changing, you're evolving. And if you're growing and you're changing your mindset, that's going to require lots of different changes in your life. And it's important that if you are building, and you have a builder, that they're doing the work too, and that it's not just do as I say, you know, it's I'm going to show you what it looks like. And usually people who are in the Build Sleep community and the band, been doing it for a long time, are really good examples of it. You should look at our builders' journeys and listen to their journeys and watch the videos, and you can see the transformation, hear them talk about it, and you see how genuine and sincere that is. And if you want that, you just have to be willing to do the work, because that's, that's the linchpin is that they put pen to paper and they went through the hard stuff to get to this place where they can feel comfortable with who they are and how they're living their life. And I think that's a worthy aim for anybody to shoot at, to go after. So becoming Built to Lead, it's a lifestyle. It's a lifestyle and it's a decision to never stop working on yourself and being tuned into the people around you and being a giver and having purpose and passion in your life.
