Day 114 definitely strikes a chord right now, especially at the time I'm recording this. Seems like every country in the world is against Israel and the 1967 war. They don't even talk about it in history classes, they don't teach at universities because it doesn't make sense what happened. Yet every country surrounding Israel, trying to wipe them off the face of the earth and Israel wins the war in six days. Historians can't explain it. And if you talk to anyone who's of faith and you know they know exactly what, why and how it happened. And it's not really the point of the day outside of the fact that you are going to find yourself alone if you're a leader. It's been a theme in my life for sure on my builder's journey. I feel like I'm always making decisions that kind of put me out there as, as a, as someone who's just feeling like I'm alone. And if you're in a leadership role, you're lied more than anyone. You're the last to find out about things. People are never going to tell you the full truth because they're scared of you. And you know, you could be doing all the right things, but you're still left on an island. And all you have to do is think about going somewhere with team and maybe hanging out at the pool and, and, and taking a break. And all of a sudden the boss walks up. As soon as that person walks in, the dynamics change. It's just automatic. And you just have to embrace that and be willing to take a stand and accept and also, you know, adapt and just make it more comfortable for yourself because you can't look outside of yourself when you're in those moments when you're by yourself. You just have to know who you are, what you're doing and where you're going and why you're doing what you're doing. And if you can do that, you know you're in a safe place. You should be scared when you don't know and you're by yourself. That's when chaos starts to make you ruminate about all the unknowns and be scared of what could happen. And then you start playing that out and catastrophizing it in your brain because you don't have the clarity and you find yourself alone. But if you do the hard work and you're on the builder's journey and you have clarity and you will find yourself at some point, if you haven't already finding yourself feeling very alone, know that that's normal. And knowing that you can still win, you can still overcome, and sometimes that requires you to burn the boats. Burn the boats, meaning no alternative. You're going, you're doing it. No if and buts about it. And when you have someone with shoot in their eye and they're by themselves and they have to go a certain way and they're the only ones, but they know where they're going and they know why they're doing it. You know, most people get out of their way, and that's the type of build to lead leader that we like to coach, because every leader finds themselves at that level at that point, at some point in their career, and you have to be able to take a stand and still move forward.
