When you think about the opposite of becoming built to lead, I tend to think that it would be someone who's lazy, someone who is not focused, doesn't have purpose in their life, hates what they do. Again, everything. The opposite of someone who's strong, loves what they do. They're great at what they do, you know, is fulfilling their purpose by serving others, making other people's lives better. And when you think about having things go sideways in your life, and that might be your relationships, might be your job, could be your health, and you think about what the cost of that is, it's pretty deadly. In fact, literally, it could be deadly. But anxiety, stress, depression, loneliness, sabotage, there's a lot of things that can go wrong in your life when things aren't lined up and going so well. And when you look on the flip side of that, you think about just how incredible your life can be when you have purpose, when you have great relationships, when you make the most of your time and you're grateful and you have all this nice. I hate using the word balance, but what I mean by that is you're filling all your buckets on the other side, and you think about what that's worth, and you know, it's worth everything. It's priceless, no question. So the real question is, how do you get it? You know, you see the cost, and you see how sideways your life can be and how upside down it can be, which a lot of people unfortunately are stuck in in one bucket or another. And then you look at the flip side of, like, what a perfect life can look like in regards to filling up all your buckets and feeling fulfilled and having, you know, that wholeness and that completeness in your life. And when you think about, how do I. How do I get there? How do I avoid this and how do I get that? And the only thing that I know about great team, every great organization, every high performer, and in fact, I hate using the word always, but I don't know any exception of this. If you look at what all of them have in common and what all of them do, they all practice. No super bowl team has ever been great without practice. No military has ever been incredible and won without practice. No high performer that won an Olympic medal was able to do it without practice. In fact, usually what you'll see at the elite scale of all of those organizations are teams and individuals who practice more and harder and better than everyone else. So why would we, as employees, entrepreneurs, wherever it is that you are in your career, why would we not practice and so it's a weird concept, right? Because how do you practice at work? But we, that's what we do at Build to Lead. And you don't have to have built lead in your office to be able to practice. Meaning if you are a salesperson, you can practice your sales calls, you can practice your cold calls, you can practice your presentations. You know, if you are a developer, you could go home and you could practice your skills and learn new coding skills on a different project. That's a hobby of yours. There are things that you can do individually and collectively that you can consider to be practice in order to master your craft. And I, I don't know any other way around performing individually or collectively on a high level, except to practice more consistently, harder, better, and fine tuning it in all different ways. And again, that sums up what built does for our clients, especially, especially for our teams. It's what made magic happen at my office. And I don't know any other way to make it work. People would always ask me why I was spending $9,000 a month on Builtly Practice. But again, in the big picture, it was a small percentage of our profits that we put towards leadership development. Completely transformed our entire office. And we were only meeting twice a month as a team. And I met with my leadership team twice a month. And then I did my practices with Chad every week and it changed everything. So where in your life can you bubble up some practice if you're not as blessed as some of the other members in our community to have built lead in your system? Where can you individually add practice to your, you know, your job or whatever it is that you're trying to do great, do great things with and build it in? Because there's no other way to become great unless you're putting in the time and effort.
