Chad Silverstein delivers a short coaching monologue about treating time as an investment rather than something to spend or waste. He urges deliberate allocation of time—especially for entrepreneurs who need not follow a 9-to-5 schedule—recommending practical checks (review your calendar and bank/credit statements) to reveal true priorities and reallocate time toward family and spiritual life.

So one of my favorite lines is you have three ways to use time. You can spend it, waste it, or use it. And I like to think that you should invest your time. Another favorite mantra of mine is that you know the times your time's ticking and whether you're not. Just because you can't see the clock doesn't mean it's not decreasing. No one knows when their last minute on earth is. We just don't know. Things can happen. And so being deliberate with your time is important. If you're a leader, especially if you're an entrepreneur, it doesn't make much sense to work on nine to five time. That's someone who's an employee. Nothing wrong with that. But an employee has to work 9 to 5 based on the business needs, but an entrepreneur does not. But yet we act as if we live this 9 to 5 life and doesn't make much sense. When I was in Strategic Coach, we used to talk about our time management skills and he would teach us how to do focus, time buffer time and free time. And just it was a different way. And so what I want you to learn about today and this day is that you don't have to do what everyone's doing. You don't have to do it the way you've always done it. You want to just be deliberate with why you're doing it the way you're doing it. And if you feel like you don't have enough time, then you got again, check yourself and see where your calendar says you're spending all of your time. Look at your credit card statement where you're spending money, which is typically where you're going to see yourself showing up in life, spending time. And if you want to build more time in with your family and maybe in your spiritual life, then you got to do it. And you got to stop complaining that you don't have time. And you have to make time for the most important things in your life, your most important things in your life. You basically prove it to yourself when you look at your calendar and you look at your, your bank statements, period. So you got to be honest with yourself and be more deliberate with the time that you have.
