You know, speaking your mind can many times get you in trouble, but there's also a lot of strength in being able to just freely speak your mind. As long as you can repair and change your perspective in the moment when you realize you either said something or you're wrong. And I think that's a really powerful trait that leaders can do. And I do it all the time. You know, I'm very strong minded, I'm hard to influence. But if you can help me understand something that makes sense, I'm going to shift my mind in two seconds. And I've done that. And I do that all the time in mid conversations with people because we're talking about something, I'm telling them what I believe about it because I'm not scared to share what I think. And they help me see something I couldn't see and they're right. And I think that's something you got to be open to. I think if you're so hard up on always being right and even when you know you're wrong, you don't want to kind of let your guard down and humble yourself and you realize you're just hurting yourself. Humble yourself shows the strength and most people think it's going to show weakness and it's the exact opposite. So be open to the fact that it's okay to like speak your mind, especially in the moment, tell people what you believe to be the truth, as long as you understand that's your truth and that doesn't necessarily make it true. That's the most common mistake people will make. They say, you know, this is a true thing, it's your truth. You know, there's always another side to everything, so you gotta be careful with that and be open to the fact that you're wrong. You don't have to be the smartest person in the room, you just have to be able to be the most authentic person if you want to get people to rally behind you and, you know, win people over so they can align with your efforts, collaborate with you, help you with your goals and vice versa. And have incredible relationships with people who respect you, who will do anything for you because they know you're real, authentic, genuine, and you care and you'll tell them the truth, at least your truth.
