I remember the first time that Chet taught me about margins. He had me open up a book. He did his thing, showed me the edges and the margins. I was complaining to him about my time and having to say no to things that I love. And he told me to stop complaining and to build in the margins. And it was a very powerful, powerful to do because once I put something on my calendar and it blocked that time, I had no excuse other than to do whatever I had blocked off and given myself that margin time to do. And I think, you know, integrating what I learned with strategic coach and free days, and then being able to plug in, you know, and be deliberate on certain days with things that I wanted to go do that I haven't done a long time, things I love on my passion list, I think that was just a real cool rejuvenator, you know, that I think everybody needs to have. And if you are scrambling for time, you have just as much time as anyone else has ever had in the history of our world. And so you're no different than anyone else, and you have just as much time as everyone else. Time is undefeated. You know, you can't beat time. And you know our time is limited, and your clock is ticking. And just because you can't see the clock doesn't mean it's not decreasing. And I think you have to make sure that you don't have regrets, not doing things that you love, not spending time with people that mean a lot to you. So you build in this margin time. And Chet explains it really well in his blog post. And, you know, everybody needs to have margin time, so there's no room to complain or make excuses. You either do it or you don't. And it's your choice, and your choices have consequences.
