Chad Silverstein delivers a brief motivational monologue (Day 290) reflecting on depression and life’s storms. He urges listeners to proactively build resilience and mindset before hard times arrive, to avoid isolating when low, and to rely on support networks—framing adversity as painful but often a catalyst for growth.

So this is a pretty, pretty consistent message. Not waiting till the storm hits to start building. We're on day 290, so we're coming up towards the back, the back end of the book. And I think hopefully you've done a lot of work up until this point. You're rinsing and repeating and you're building your core out and you're aiming at something big. And if you find yourself low in the bottom of the valley, you know, it's, it's coming out of the storm is sometimes going to be more acutely painful than, than you want it to be. But that's just the reality of it. Usually it gets you to wherever you're going and usually the more pain, the more of a growth that you'll end up seeing from it. So there is something to be said just to make sure, like this day says you don't stay down too long. So don't go dark and make sure that you have support and you have other people who can be there for you. And don't hide it. Don't hide it and don't go dark and true. Life gets harder. You get older, you don't feel as healthy. You start to see more people around you leaving this world. And there's something to be said about making sure that you have a certain type of a mindset that you're deliberate about that you want to have during the times that will shake you and preload that in and, you know, work really hard to build that into your, your way of being and your life and your mindset and your principles and, and then put a stake in the ground because the storms are common and no one's immune to it. It's definitely one of those things that's undefeated.
