I had the pleasure of meeting Jim. He came to one of my choice recovery practices with Chet, and my team had an opportunity to just fire away questions at him. And now I joined the Builtly band, and Jim's one of my brothers. And man, oh, man, am I glad I'm one of his brothers. This guy, tough and tender, doesn't really label him properly. You never met a guy like this before. His strength and honor, his principle of treating people like a brother and being there for people and making them feel like you're his brother. I've never had anyone do it the way he's done it. And Chet's right in the book in this day. Every team needs more Jim Gantz. Every team needs leaders who can make people feel a certain way. But it comes from such a genuine, authentic place, either from the experiences that you've had and letting go of the fear of worrying about the way people think about you because of the way that you share how you feel about them. I mean, this guy, he pours it out of him, and he makes sure that you know how he feels. And every team needs that, needs more of that. And so if you're someone who's more of an introvert and it's hard for you to share how you feel, you got to work on that. Because there is so much power to move people by letting them know where they stand in your life, especially when it's good and it's positive and you care deeply about them to make sure that they know and to continually make sure they are reminded of that. They're. They're. That is such a powerful thing that leaders can do. And the impact that you can have on other people, most likely because they don't have anyone else in their life who make them feel that way is basically an unknown. Because you wouldn't know how they react, because they don't have anyone in their life that makes them feel that way. So if you can do that for them, who knows what you can get out of them? Who knows how much more they'll step up the plate? Who knows what they'll be willing to do for you? And it's not to do it for that purpose, but that's just the result of leading with that type of strength and honor. And to wear your heart on your sleeve. I've always done that, and sometimes to my detriment, where I wear my heart too much on my sleeve. And I have no regrets. I'd rather be that way than to make you wonder what I'm thinking all the time because you don't know who's showing up today. And it's a choice. You have to work against your tendencies. You're blessed if you meet a guy like Jim and highly recommend picking up his book because it's a. It's a winner, and he's a winner. And you want more people like that in your life.
