A short YouTube monologue (by Chad Silverstein) arguing that raw experience is not enough — what matters is learning from experience. The speaker contrasts merely accumulating experiences with building a clear inner core and consciously extracting lessons; recommends seeking people who have demonstrably learned (coaches, builders, leaders) and committing to being a learner.

It does help to. I mean, it does help to have that experience that credentializes you with practical wisdom, but it's. There's so many people that have lived a long time, had lots of jobs, and they've had great experiences, but they haven't. They didn't build a strong core. They didn't have a clear sense of who they were and why they did what they did, and it wasn't becoming conscious to them. And so they had all this stuff, but they didn't learn from it the way I've watched you learn from the experiences that you've had. So I always tell people, like, hey, don't look for somebody with a lot of experience. Look for somebody with a lot of learning from whatever experiences they've had. There's a big difference. And the best coaches, the best builders, the best leaders are the. Are the learners. And. And they've even learned from other people's experience. They just learned from everyone. And I just kept learning from all these people that I didn't know what they did, but I just learned from them. And then I was like, okay, that makes sense. Let's go do that. I mean, you just have to be committed to being a learner.
