A coach shows how to find your actual purpose by examining what you claim to value, then checking if your calendar backs it up. Real purpose shows in commitments like regular calls or lunches, not just beliefs. You can have different purposes in different contexts.

And just talking about all this and just kind of like, when did you figure out yours? After a lot of core work. So at least for me, so the purpose. I work very hard on with people. I think that's the. That's the toughest thing for. For me. I think with clients, helping them to. To realize that sense of purpose. And I think after they hear themselves talk for a while, talk about their beliefs, talk about their identity, talk about what they're really, really passionate about and, you know, is your. Is your world view and does it inform your purpose and to. To start that kind of conversation? And how do you answer when clients get confused with the core purposes in the six pack versus the purpose. Purpose in the opus? And, and like, if they're writing it out, like, is it the same thing? Like, how do you explain that? Yeah, that. That's. It's not tough. It's. So we. We can have. I have a strong sense of purpose about being a father and now grandfather, and how do I see that manifesting in my life? Is there. Do you see that? You know, if I, If I. You say you want to be a really good grandfather, you know, or a good father, how's that. How's that work? All you gotta do is look at your calendar. Yes. Make account, right? Yes. Yeah. As you might do, I've often opened up my calendar and said, see that? Wednesday, right? That's when I have lunch with my wife. 30 years, call her on the phone. We meet every Wednesday. So now it's, you know, we're doing things different, you know, but so it's. It's a manifestation, I think, in your life. You see it happening in your life. I'm asking them, you know, do you see that happening in your life? And are you making those kinds of, you know, commitments? You say that so we can have a sense of purpose. I think as an athlete, which. That identity of what I had in my mind as an athlete changed. That was very much a label. Well, now it's. It's much different. You know, it's about just seeking excellence in every aspect of this man. And, and so trying to head back to the client, you know, is that, you know, how. How's that for you? So having a sense of purpose about my life or. Or your life. So we. We have. We can have many different kinds of purpose. We can have different purposes in life. So.
