A short YouTube monologue by Chad Silverstein warning against making decisions based solely on gut feelings or emotions. You always hear people talk about going with your gut and going with your intuition. And I'm sure there's times where you've done it and it's worked really well. But the problem is that you're in an emotional state when you're going with your gut. And when you make decisions based on your emotions, you're bound to just make mistakes. There's a much better practice, the practice of being able to lean on other people who you can trust, who are smarter and wiser than you are, and who can help you see a different perspective. Because your perception of things could be off, and most likely is off, because you see things where you are. And if you're trying to go above and beyond where you are, then you need the help of someone who can see things that you can't see. And so don't go with your gut, and you wouldn't go, and you just start gambling with your gut. You gotta make sure you're making sound decisions. You gotta take things from an objective view. And if you go with your gut in an emotional state, you're bound to make huge, huge mistakes.
