The first thing I remember about Built.
Saleed was I never actually spent the time to think about anything.
I never thought about your worldview, your identity.
It was, yeah, I went to college, I did this, but I never wrote about anything. You know, I was sleepwalking.
And I remember you brought it in for all of us and I wrote.
Down a goal of paying off our house is we had a $100,000 mortgage on our house. And I remember writing it down. And for that next year we just threw all our money at it and paid it off. And that kind of propelled me into believing that I could actually accomplish something. Because after I did that and I wrote that goal down, then I started writing my three P's. Then I started, you know, really writing.
And learning about myself and learning what.
Makes me tick, what, what I like to do, what school going to propel.
Me into, to growth.
I wouldn't trade that time for anything. I learned so much more about myself than anything that I could never imagine myself where I'm at right now. You know, you have ups and downs. You always have ups and downs. But if you can't get out of that down quicker and quicker each time, then I mean, you're fine for me anymore. It's not hard because I can just know I'm switching, I'm out. And I mean, it's just a fact, I'm not. There's no sugar coating.
When you really do the work and.
Continue to do the work, then you really see that transfer, that transformation, you see something big happen. That's how you hit a goal.
It's one thing at a time.
I do have the grow, you know, I want to wake up and I want to grow and again, just at least to be at the minimum, at the minimum, a better father, husband, you know, and be able to, you know, give myself other people.
