A short talk by Chad Silverstein introducing the Built to Lead community’s use of Chet Scott’s book Becoming Built to Lead (a playbook with 365 daily disciplines). The speaker encourages members to consume the book day-by-day, engage in dialogue and commenting within the community, and use the book to drive practical leadership development.

As a member, you get access a digital copy of Becoming Built to Lead, Chet Scott's book. This is probably, I think he said, the 16th iteration of our playbook, which is kind of cool because the content really hasn't changed, our framework hasn't changed. And that tells us something, that it works. And we're going through it too. It doesn't matter if it's your first time or your hundredth time. The purpose in the community is to consume the book day by day, which is how it's designed with the 365 disciplines, one on each page. It's not something you'll just read through. And our. Our hope is that you'll engage in dialogue and commenting and reflecting and sharing your thoughts and your insights. What's it make you think about? And also your work, because it's designed to put you through the process. And if you're someone who's in the Build to Lead community through one of our clients or you're just familiar with our process, you'll understand it a lot better than if you're a newbie and you've never heard of Built a Lead. And so you may have to ask questions. And so the whole point of the space in the menu is that you can do whatever you want, you can pick whatever day you want, comment wherever you want, and, you know, ask any questions you want. And you'll engage with others. Typically, you'll have people responding. And the built elite community is a very special community, including the band, all the coaches. They'll be more than happy to respond and give you some clarity. And we hope that that's what will happen, that you'll engage with the content, enjoy the book, enjoy the opportunity to connect with us. We believe leaders are connectors, and that's the whole point of this community. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us and enjoy and start on day one.
