Together We Transform, Always Together.

Chad Silverstein and Build2Lead participants share how the program changed their lives: one bought a home, another shifted careers, and they credit team practices and accountability for restoring purpose and helping them speak up about leadership issues at work.

One of the best investments I've ever made. Build2Lead.
I bought a home because of Build2Lead. I sold my home because of Build2Lead. Wrote a worldview that guides my everyday decisions because of Built a Lead. Built to lead is a life changer. What you put in, you get out. And you have to be willing to put in the work. But certainly changed my life.
I never cared about personal growth or development.
I just wanted to come in, do.
My job and go home.
And being in Build two Lead and actually putting myself into it, doing the work, understanding who I am, understanding what.
I believe, why I believe it, I.
Figured out what my purpose was and.
It has just changed my life.
Build2Lead is a way to challenge you to become a better person and to live your life in a meaningful way. And instead of most people kind of walking through life, giving you the opportunity to lead your life.
3, 400 practices, team practices together, getting tired together, knocking each other around with challenges, putting me in the middle of the room and hitting me with feedback.
One of the questions that I remember being asked was if I felt that someone in leadership here at Choice was not doing, not doing their job or not doing a good job at if I would say something, if I would bring it up to Chad, if I would be afraid to or be willing to. That question struck me as odd because most companies I've worked for, or even owners that I've worked for, that is not a question that they ask. It's almost this idea that if they put that person in charge, then questions shouldn't be asked and they should be alright with whatever decision is.
I offered my dream job what I thought it was. Talked to Chad, we talked about it. He said, if it's your dream, go do it and if it's not, come back and let me know. And they fired me because I wouldn't lie on a report. When Chad was gracious enough to bring me back, I had something to prove to myself, to everyone I was working with, to everyone that was there before. And I wanted to go headstrong in.
The build to Lead because I needed.
To make that change in my life. And I knew that was the way I could do it. But it's had the biggest impact on this company and in myself. So whenever there's even a minuscule change in this company, I feel it because I feel like I put my blood, sweat and tears into this place because of what Built Lead has given me and the tools I have to actually bring about that change in a better way.
