There's nothing more important than knowing what you believe. When I first joined Build to Lead, as Chet used to always say, we wake up dead people. And I say, well, it's a pretty strong comment, but people are wandering through, sleepwalking through life, believing everything they hear from everyone. Today we have more things beeping and buzzing in our pockets or by our head when we go to sleep than we've ever had before. You gotta wake yourself up, and the way you do that is to get clear on what you believe. You can get stuck thinking a certain way your whole life, and not until you're old and gray look back and say, wow, like, you know, I screwed up. I actually don't believe that. So if you're just doing the hard work and putting version 1.0 down, you're ahead of most people.
