A short motivational video by Chase Fisher advising how to achieve flow and boost productivity. Fisher uses a striking shaving-in-the-shower metaphor to explain detaching from outcomes and staying present; he emphasizes constant mental clarity and prescribes carrying a small, inexpensive notebook with a left-side to-do list and a right-side gratitude/manifestation list to improve focus and completion of daily tasks.

Is that flow state? This. You want to know what real flow state is? Imagine you're in the shower and you're shaving your balls. What are you thinking about? If you're not thinking about how smooth they're going to be after your shave, you're only thinking about the process. You completely detach from the outcome because if you cut yourself, it's all over. It's the same way in life. If you want to focus on something, detach from the outcome and focus on each and every movement, each and every action that you take in the day. Everything in this game is about mental clarity. The easiest time to be successful, but it's also the easiest time to be distracted. I always have a pen and paper on me. Call it old fashioned, call it whatever you want. On the left side here I have what I have to do for the day. On the right side, I have what I'm grateful for, as if I already have it. So I have what I have to do and why I have to do it. And this is on me at all times. 24 7. Before I did this, I was not getting shit done. Now I get everything done. You buy a five dollar tiny ass notebook and your life will change forever.
