In this solo YouTube video, Chase Fisher explains why he prefers TikTok Shop affiliate marketing over traditional dropshipping. He shares his personal experience of generating roughly $500,000 in revenue within six months as a TikTok Shop affiliate, starting in his senior year of high school and forgoing college. Fisher contrasts the two models: dropshipping requires ad spend, customer support, manufacturer negotiations, and logistics, whereas TikTok Shop affiliate work only needs video or live content that automatically triggers a commission on each sale, with all fulfillment, support, and returns handled by the platform. He positions TikTok Shop affiliate marketing as the modern equivalent of the 2020 dropshipping boom—highly profitable, low‑barrier, and scalable across many products. While acknowledging that dropshipping can still be viable with the right skills, he argues that for newcomers with limited capital, TikTok Shop affiliate is the top entry point. Fisher concludes by offering to teach his methods for free, inviting viewers to follow his profile for more detailed guidance.

Yeah, bro, so basically what you're going to want to do is you're going to want to run ads to your product page and you're going to be rich. I'm just kidding, I don't do dropshipping, but I do TikTok Shop affiliate, which is so much better in my opinion. I'll tell you why real quick. If you haven't seen me before, my name's Chase Fisher Fisher, and in the last 6 months I've done about half a million dollars in revenue as a TikTok Shop affiliate. And I'm literally just a normal kid. I started doing this late senior year and ended up not going to college because of how well it works. It seems pretty crazy to, you know, say a number like that. So pretty much when you're dropshipping, you know, you got to run your ads, you've got to do all this customer support, talk to manufacturers, many different things, so many different skills you have to learn about. It's a viable business model, don't get me wrong,. But with TikTok Shop Affiliate, I'm literally just posting videos or doing lives for the brand and it's automatically handled. Every time I make a video or run a live, every time it generates a sale, I get a commission for it. I don't have to deal with any customer support. If a customer complains to me about a product, it's not my fault. My whole job is I'm basically like a, a digital closer over video format or live format. I was dropshipping this chair, I would have to deal with customer support, I have to find a manufacturer, I'd have to deal with all the shipping costs, et cetera. But if I'm a TikTok Shop Affiliate selling this chair, all I have to do is make a video and maybe I'm like, why did it take us until 2024 to start making a chair that actually looks like a hand. Obviously that's not what I actually do, but you get the point. The second the viewer watching that video I just made makes a sale, then I get a commission from it every single time. I don't have to worry about running ads or dealing with manufacturers or a customer when they're unhappy. I just get my commission paid out and I can just keep making videos over and over and over with different products. I don't have to stay with one product. I mean, overall it's just such a better business model. Look at the notion though that I'm bashing dropshipping because it's still a profitable business model if you have the right knowledge and you have the skill set. It can definitely still be done. People say, you know, you it's only good in 2020 or whatever, but you can definitely still do it now. Right now, TikTok Shop Affiliate is kind of like dropshipping back in 2020. You know, there's tons and tons of people making about $100,000 a month or more, which is nuts. And that's how dropshipping was back in 2020. So right now, if you have less money, you're newer to e-commerce, I would say 100% TikTok Shop Affiliate is the number one way to start. If you want to start posting videos and profiting from that, I will literally teach you for completely free. I'll drop tons of sauce on this profile, so shoot me a follow-up.
