In this monologue, the speaker argues that the purest flow state can be achieved during an intensely focused, mundane act—shaving one’s genitals—because it forces complete present‑moment attention. Using that anecdote as a hook, he introduces a simple productivity tool: a small pocket notebook (about 3.1" × 4") that he carries at all times. One side holds a daily to‑do list; the opposite side records gratitude statements and visualizations of future wealth (e.g., “I’m grateful for making a million dollars a month”). He claims the notebook replaces morning phone scrolling, providing mental clarity and a dopamine hit each time a task is crossed off, thereby rewiring reward pathways. The gratitude side, written each night, is said to align the user’s “vibration” with the desired high‑income reality. The speaker concludes that planning the day and practicing gratitude with this tangible tool can shift a distracted life into one of focused productivity and entrepreneurial success.

I was talking about how the truest form of flow state is shaving your balls, because you can only focus on what you're doing and you cannot focus on what they're going to look like after. But for a lot of you guys, that's the only time you can actually lock in. Now you see all these kids, 17, 18, 19 years old, $50K a month. But if you can literally do this one thing, I will teach you how to change your life from being distracted to being successful. I've done this for about a year now. I was doing it before I was making any type of money, but basically what I do is I always have this little notebook on me right here. It's literally— it's 3.11 inches by like 4 inches. And it's smaller than my phone. I keep this in my pocket at all times, and the reason is it keeps me clear mentally, mental clarity. So on this side I have what I have to do for the day, and then on this side, normally it's longer, there's like a continuation, but it's like what I'm grateful for on the other side. So I have what I need to do and why I'm doing it. And 99% of you guys, you'll wake up, have no idea what to do, scroll on your phone, end up just lollygagging through the day. When you have your day planned out beforehand, you have no choice but to do what's on there. And every time I cross something off on my to-do list, I get a hit of dopamine. It's right next my phone. So it's like the same feeling, and I switch my dopamine from going to my phone in the morning to going to this notebook. So every time I reach into my pocket, instead of hitting my phone, I hit this, and I'd rather than just scroll, I'd rather just cross the task off here. And yes, I know it's old-fashioned and it's probably not the absolute best way to stay organized, but holy shit, does it work. One side of it is the to-do list, but the other side, being grateful, that's where the real magic happens. Because every night, like, I'll write things that I want as if I'm grateful for them and I already have them. So it'll be like, I'm so grateful to be making a million dollars a month. This puts me on the same vibration as what I would be doing if I was making a million a month. So it keeps you organized and it keeps you grateful. So if you want the mental clarity to be able to use the internet to actually benefit yourself and have a life that's more than the average person, start planning out your day, start being grateful. And the best way to do it, this little guy right here.
