If I had to restart from zero and get back to $10,000 a month on TikTok Shop, this is exactly what I would do. I've already generated millions of dollars from TikTok Shop. I even hit the number 2 ranked affiliate spot on the entire app. And with TikTok Shop, you film a video about a product that you don't even have to have inventory of. Someone watches and then buys from that video, and TikTok pays you. You never own anything, and you never talk to a customer. I also made my first $10,000 online running this exact system, and I've had dozens of students hit that exact same number as well. So today I'm giving you the 9 steps in the order that I would do them so you can actually actually go ahead and start TikTok Shop now without having any experience. Now, to be clear, there are no income claims in this video at all. This is a YouTube video, and 99% of people watching this will never implement it. And so I can't guarantee you make a single dollar from this video in any way, shape, or form. So you may be the 1% that actually implements this stuff. So first, let's understand how TikTok Shop actually works so you can see why it's the best business to start right now and how possible making $10,000 a month actually is. When I got started back in 2023 on TikTok Shop, I did not know what the app was going to turn into. I did not what TikTok Shop was gonna become. Right now on TikTok Shop, brands list their products inside of the app on TikTok. Pretty much anybody can then film a video about these products that already have existing demand 'cause they're from large companies that people already know, like, and trust. And then when someone buys from a video on TikTok Shop, whoever made that video gets paid a commission. And TikTok is the one that is putting the video in front of the viewer. So you don't even have to pay to get your video pushed out to a lot of people. And what most people don't know is that actually TikTok Shop is bigger than eBay. And everybody knows eBay. But almost no one in comparison knows what TikTok Shop is, but it generates more revenue every single quarter than eBay. So every sale that comes from your videos adds up to one number, which is called GMV, or gross merchandise value. This really just means the total amount in dollars that you sold. So it's really just revenue, and you get paid a percentage of the GMV that you generate. So the brand sets the percentage on each product on how much commission they wanna pay out every single time there's a sale generated. So 2 people could film the same amount on the exact same schedule, but obviously get paid completely different based on how much GMV their videos generated. The only caveat here is that to sell products on TikTok Shop as an affiliate and earn commission, you have to have 5,000 followers. So even if you have zero followers, you still can't link a TikTok Shop product link that will pay you commission on your videos. Step 2, make the account look like a real human being. If you just think from first principles, people like to buy from other people, not somebody that's trying to make a commission off them. And while you are trying to make a commission, you don't necessarily want it to seem like that. So when you set up your first TikTok Shop account or any TikTok Shop account, You want to make sure that it looks like a real personal account. Give it a name. It doesn't have to be your name. Give it a profile picture that looks like a human being so that people can actually resonate with you. You should be spending 10 minutes here, not 10 days. So now you have the account ready, but you have nothing to sell. Well, the fortunate thing is that you don't even have to spend a dollar to have products that you can sell. Step 3, get your first products for free because they're already around your house. The majority of you watching this video already have 10 products around your house that are on TikTok Shop. And on TikTok Shop, more than anywhere else, money loves speed. You want to film your first videos and get started on this as quick as possible while it's actually fresh in your mind. Now, if you want to make money this week instead of this month, one thing on TikTok pays faster than anything else on this video, and it's actually what made me my first 6 figures in profit on TikTok Shop. Step number 4, go live using a script that is already selling. So the best way to find products that can work on a TikTok Shop livestream is to go on TikTok, the app, navigate to the Shop tab, and then look for a livestream that is happening right now. Once you find one, tap on the livestream, and now you can scroll through a feed of only other TikTok Shop livestreams, and you can see exactly what products people have a lot of viewers on right now and are making a lot of money with. This is a great way to identify good livestream products that are working right now. When you find someone going through these livestreams that has over 100 viewers concurrently, meaning on there right now, what you should do is screen record this livestream, watch it for a couple minutes, and get their script written down, and then order one of their products so you can actually do livestreams with it. And by the way, you could always return it if it doesn't work out and run that same script yourself with more urgency and more scarcity. People buy on live streams not generally because the product is just logically the best thing they've ever seen in their lives, but because of the energy that you can create on live streams. You can make people feel the fear of missing out. You can make them feel real scarcity. You can answer their questions in real time. This is the way that I went from zero to the number 2 ranked TikTok Shop affiliate on the entire app within 6 months of starting. However, you could talk for hours and sell nothing. TikTok decides who gets the buyers, and right now it's not you. So step 5, understand how lives work and how they are ranked, and you can show up when the top seller of whatever product that you're promoting is not on live streams. Why would you go live and instantly get more traffic than them? The answer is you're not going to if you're competing on their product. As you start to spend more time on a certain product, you literally rank up on it the same way you'd rank up in a car dealership after generating more revenue and being there for longer. If you do a certain product for a long time, you can start to rank up and get more traffic over time. Now the important part for you here, if you are a beginner, is realize that the top guy cannot go live 24/7. They have to eat, they have to get off, and most of the time they only do a couple hours a day. So the way that you can use this concept on TikTok Shop is to go live when there's nobody else going live for your product, because then you're not competing with all these higher-ranked streamers on your product. Step 6, for videos, you're gonna need to find products that have a high barrier to entry on TikTok Shop. The number one product selection method that you will need to know is, is the brand spending a lot of money on GMV Max ads and is there low competition on this specific product? If that is true, each video that is posted for that product will get more views than anything else that doesn't fit that criteria. So when you are selecting products, you must find products that have big brand names behind them, but either a newer product or a product that is more expensive because both Those things, newer and more expensive, are barriers to entry, which lower the amount of competition. Once you start to make sales on products around your house and just getting as many products in as you can, you start to look at these things. And so really, the more products you have in rotation, the better, because the more you test, the more likely you are to find a winning product. And that one winning product pays for everything. So now that the products are handled, the next part is where most people post for a full month and sell nothing. And fixing it takes zero creativity. Step 7, copy the videos word for word and change absolutely nothing for your first month. When you are getting started, you do not know what videos are going to work. I've worked with billion-dollar brands. I am telling you, they still copy their competitors. So your first month should be focused on first replicating what works, and only that for your first month. And then after that, once you started to see some results from copying these fantastic videos, you can then maybe— only then maybe— try to go iterate and maybe create your new scripts. With the videos handled, the only thing left is what you actually do with this tomorrow. Step 8, if you want to move as fast as possible, run videos and lives every day. It is a couple videos at least copied each day, plus the lives on one product. And the lives and the videos both compound over time. And until money shows up, this is the entire job description. This works, so just keep pushing instead of looking for a different plan. And you could do all that perfectly and still make zero for weeks. Look, I was posting videos every day consistently, and within a couple weeks to a month, I started making sales. But it's not like the first couple of months I was just printing money. I was still trying to figure it out. I had no guidance, no one to help me. But my first month I made like $1,000 in commission and I sat around $1,000 to $4,000 a month. My 6th full month was when I first found my real winning product, and that's when I hit my first $40,000 month. And that is the month that changed everything for me forever. But there are only so many lives you can run in a day. There's only so much time you can spend making videos in a day. Getting past that has just one requirement, and hitting it early is how people go backwards. Step 9, hire a creator and a virtual assistant, but only once you understand how to run it yourself. Look, when you hire a creator for $25 to $35 an hour, they can run lives for you, they can do your videos for you, and the virtual assistant handles everything else— the editing and the posting, the livestream moderation. And this is really how you can start compounding your skill set and create real leverage while buying back your time. And if I was personally doing this, I would get to $5,000 to $10,000 a month before handing any of it off so that I really understand it and have some money to outsource and pay a team. But in reality, the only real prerequisite is understanding TikTok Shop itself. So outsourcing and scaling is something that already works, but don't ever shortcut past learning TikTok Shop yourself and just try to outsource everything instantly. Not only will you not be a good boss, but you will not be able to even tell if your team is doing a good job because you don't even know what good looks like. And so you can make your own call if you actually understand TikTok Shop, if you're ready to outsource and really turn this into a real system that can run without you. The catch is you actually have to do it because productivity implies you work hard lol

If I could have just done this when I got started, I would have progressed way faster

This is literally how TikTok Shop works and it will not change unless there's a major algorithm
