Short YouTube monologue by Chase Fisher about social dynamics in Miami/Brickell: money and visible status symbols (supercars, apartments) become primary markers of success, exposure to wealthy peers shifts beliefs about what’s possible, and this motivates listeners to pursue higher income. The tone is candid, promotional/motivational, and includes profanity.

The weirdest fucking thing about living in a city like Miami is that it turns into like high school again, but for online money. Like, everybody's just trying to ego each other. Really. One of the only markers for success is money. So the supercar, the apartment that you have is relevant. And people are going to perceive this as a bad thing, but it's really going to make you see like, oh, that guy is really dumb. He makes three times as much as me. Why can't I do that? And then you just go out and do it. Because we all know the main reason why people can't make money is a beliefs thing. They don't believe it's possible. If you already made it far enough to be able to make 10k a month and at least afford the rent out here, then you'll probably make a lot more money when you see who the people actually making money are. Because you probably already won in your hometown and nobody's actually from Brickell. So you already have that trait of just beating out everybody else around you. So you might as well just ascend to the top here anyways. But do it. You're going to make more money, you're going to be happier, you're going to enjoy life. And anybody who hates on it probably just can't afford it or they had some bad experience because they kept going to the club every night for three months.
