Chase Fisher, speaking in a short YouTube vlog, reflects on living in Miami for about 20 days and whether the city is worth it for young entrepreneurs. He answers yes, not primarily because of networking, but because of time savings and convenience (close amenities, less driving) and the upbeat atmosphere; he notes he hasn’t yet formed many close friendships and observes many people come for clout or networking.

Miami worth it if you're a young entrepreneur after living here for about 20 days. I will tell you what I think. Honestly, the first day I moved in, I thought I was not gonna like it. After living here for about 20 days, I would say yes, but not why most people would say yes. Most people like Miami because there's, like, a lot of connections here. There's supposedly good people. You know, there's clubs and there's bars and there's something to do all the time. Now, unfortunately, I have not met people that I absolutely love yet, like a ton of friends and. And, you know, everybody's just running it up the same way. Everybody's locked in the same way. Partially my fault, because I don't go out that much. I like to stay in. I like to work. I think most people come here for clout or connections, and I don't think that'. But the reason I love it is because you get so much more out of your time when you don't have to drive to pointless shit. Every restaurant I could ever want is right down there. My haircut is 30 seconds away. My gym is 30 seconds away. I don't waste time on pointless shit. Even though the rent is a little bit more expensive, the amount of time that you will save just from not having to drive 20 minutes to go to the bank is ridiculous. On top of that, it's always lively. So it's really difficult to be depressed when the weather is great and there's always something happening that's entertaining. So my answer, yes, just do it.
