When you're outsourcing, this is actually one of the things that I would be careful of. A lot of times people try to only hire an editor, and a lot of times this can actually cost you more time and money than it ends up saving you. For example, if you have to film everything, then upload every single file into a Google Drive folder, even that alone takes time. Secondly, you have to come back after it's edited and then post these videos yourself. It's really just not that efficient. However, if you have somebody filming the videos, they upload it to a virtual assistant who edits and posts all in one motion, You're no longer even in the day-to-day. Like, you're in a completely different role, which is almost creative strategy. You're looking for products, you're looking for new video styles, and you're actually running a business rather than being in the weeds. So take that with a grain of salt, but be efficient. Don't just hire one person to do the whole thing.
