My dad knew nothing about TikTok Shop, but he wanted to start making money online. And I've helped dozens of people hit their first $10,000, $20,000, and $30,000 months on TikTok Shop. My dad's been seeing all my TikToks on his For You page. You might have been too. Recently been ripping some content, and it's all about TikTok Shop, right? I did about 7 figures in revenue on Shop, um, over 6 figures in profit, and he wants to get into it. So I bet this guy right here, my dad, that we can do $10K in his first 30 days of TikTok Shop with no prior knowledge. We literally just bought the account today, screenshot right here, and we're gonna get him to $10K in 30 days.
I'm gonna walk you through what his very first 10 days looked like to set himself up for success long-term. These first 10 days were me seeing exactly how much money I could make somebody who was brand new and didn't even really have TikTok downloaded before starting this first 10 days. Now my dad's 54, so this was not the world's easiest task. I filmed every single day of this, and this is the real raw results of what actually happened when my 54-year-old dad tried TikTok Shop in his first 10 days with no cuts. So either it worked or my dad's gonna be super unhappy and I'm about to look like a fraud, but here's the video. So day 1, I purchased him a TikTok Shop account. When you get started on TikTok Shop, there's a couple ways you can go about it. You can buy an account that already has the followers on it, or you could grow one organically posting videos. Look, my dad's again 54. He doesn't want to sit there all day long and try to grow an account. I just bought him an account. It cost me a couple hundred bucks, but he's in the game and now he can start posting videos and earning commissions. That is $360. So we'll start at negative $360 and get to $10K in profit, 30 days.

And I know that couple hundred dollar investment is the best investment I can make if I can set my dad up to do a business model that doesn't require him to go into a job every day, because it's either that or I got to put him on payroll or something. So this was like the most real version of this challenge that I could film, because if I made him grow one, honestly, I think it would have been too difficult. And for any beginner, that's what I would recommend you to do. But honestly, that's the easiest part of it. But the real question here is, what is he actually gonna sell so that he can make money? By day 2, he started with products that were already in my house, and honestly, most of them were pretty bad. Originally, when I started TikTok Shop, I had all my products at my parents' house. And so when I moved out, my dad still had tons of products to choose from, but most of them were kind of outdated. There was a lot of really random stuff, but my dad's advantage was not that he had good Good products, but the fact that he had a lot of them.
All right, so today is day 2 of getting my dad to $10K a month with TikTok Shop in 30 days. So today, just trying to get him some videos posted, kind of have him understand why things work, why we're doing the things that we're doing, just to make it a lot easier like that. But that's what's today, um, and we'll check back in with you guys once me and him have our call.
On TikTok Shop, there's this thing that I call the 5th grader method for product selection, and it works so ridiculously well. And really what the 5th grader method is, is instead of thinking about what products do you like, you just look at the data. You test every single product. Whatever ones work, you double down on. The ones that do not work or do not get you a lot of views, you just cut off. So when you have all these products, what I want my dad to go through and do is just film for all of them, test everything. Because even though it's weird and there's all these different products that you don't think would sell, at the end of the day, you don't know what's gonna sell. And the only way to figure out what is gonna sell is to test it. And this might sound like my dad has some crazy head start over you if you're just getting But any TikTok Shop affiliate, once they have their account set up, can request free samples from brands and get a lot of free stuff in.
This is what happens when you're a TikTok Shop affiliate. You literally get like infinite, infinite free samples.

literally this AC as well, and that spin scrubber, and that little grill right there, and looks like 2 Wi-Fi routers. You get so much free shit, you get tired of it though, but it's a good problem to have. This is actually like a $100 cologne. Never used it. My girlfriend didn't like the smell of it, so never got used. That's actually the problem with most of these. I think they smell pretty good, but you don't need them. A lot of them smell like, like give you like a little headache after a while. So looks like we got a lot of fragrances though. Some electronics. Ooh, this is my first viral video right here.
And so you also can end up with a pile of weird products that are probably not that good once you get your first account. So don't worry, my dad did not have a big advantage over you. So now that he has the product in his hands, he has to do the part that everybody overthinks and almost no one actually starts. So by day 4, he started actually filming the videos. So my dad started making simple, faceless, bottom-of-funnel TikTok Shop videos that were just selling the sale over and over and over again. Because these videos have been proven to work and they're very easy, almost anybody can do them. He would rotate through a couple styles to not keep his account too repetitive and just make these very simple videos. Most people massively overcomplicate TikTok Shop affiliate, and filming simple videos that have been proven to work before and just replicating them is really what the whole thing for him came down to. My dad never had to get on camera and invent some new format. He just copied what already worked, which is available to anybody watching this video. And this is where it stopped being theoretical, because this is when something actually started to show up on the dashboard.
Okay, so it's day 4 of getting my dad to $10K a month with TikTok Shop. He made 2 sales yesterday on his first day actually posting. Day 1 was just buying the account and posting some non-shop videos to warm it up. Day 2, we started posting shop videos but then realized the account was already ID verified with someone else's account, so we got a replacement. And then Also day 2, we posted on our new account non-shop videos to warm up the account. And then day 3 was our first real post.
Got our first sales just a couple hours after that.
So pretty good. We're not gonna be making side hustle money for long. Like I said, we're gonna get this thing up and running quick. I've got another call with him. This is what we're doing. We're doing it at like 10:00 AM every day.

But yeah, let's get into that call and let's get him to make some more sales today. Let's run it.
By day 6, sales started coming in. And after that, he was making them daily consistently. So within a couple days already, My dad has gone from getting the account set up to getting a ton of random products and starting to post proven videos and making sales. Most business models will make you wait a year or 2 years to become profitable. In TikTok Shop, you can get an account set up, get some free products in, post videos, and start generating commission within weeks or days. So my dad went from a blank account to making consistent daily sales, which is the moment it became a real income-producing thing rather than just some idea. Now, for most people, they'll see these first couple sales come in and they're over the moon, which is great. My dad was no different. He was genuinely having fun with it, which was great to see. So my dad did not go crazy and he did not become a millionaire, but he got the thing actually running, which is the only part that has to happen first. Now here's the one thing that made all of this work, and this is something that you're probably not going to want to hear. By day 9, the pattern was obvious. The only reason this worked is I was telling him what to do every day. We were on calls every single day of this challenge with me just pushing him forward and telling him what to do. Even though it wasn't complex, this helped him take the correct actions so he could get the correct results. And I'll put some of the clips here, but I was getting up at 1 AM to film all of these videos during the time of getting him started on TikTok Shop because I was traveling and like staying in a hotel and moving to Florida at the time. But overall, none of the days that he had were dramatic $1,000, $2,000 days, but it was showing up daily, filming the videos, and having somebody to ask when something didn't make sense. So a total beginner does not need following, they don't need some crazy amount of talent, they just need the exact steps of accounts, products, videos, and someone to ask when you can't put the puzzle together alone. So the total amount generated during the first 10 days was $4,400 in sales, which came out to about $450 in pure profit. Is that a crazy amount of money? No. Is it good for a brand new beginner who is just getting started? Yes. You do not become a millionaire overnight in business. It is a constant process of increasing your skills, beliefs, and traits. And getting started is the part where most people get hung up. They never even get into the So this is a total beginner who had nothing in terms of TikTok Shop at a real income-producing thing within 10 days.
