Short YouTube motivational clip by Chase Fisher (uploaded by Chase Fisher). The speaker recommends a small-pocket daily journal as a habit-replacement for doomscrolling and as a tool for mental clarity and obsession on goals. His routine: each night write tasks on the left page and gratitude/visualized goals on the right (phrased as already achieved); carry the journal in his pocket to reach for it instead of his phone. He cites journaling while making $2k/month and visualizing $1M/month as motivating examples.

If you're not prepared to win, you're not gonna win. Everyone says, more money, more problems, but they never tell you how to prepare for when you get there. And this one thing for mental clarity, I probably attribute 90% of my success to literally at all times. For the last year, even when I was making 2k a month, I was carrying a little journal everywhere. So every night before I go to bed, on the left side, I write what I have to do for the day, and on the right side, I have what I'm grateful for, as if I've already achieved it, like all of my goals. And I just say, like, I'm grateful to be making a million a month, putting myself in the exact same vibration of what I'll have once I achieve it. So I pretty much have what I have to do and why I have to do it. And also, since this thing's small than my phone, I have it in my pocket at all times, meaning when I reach my pocket to go get on my phone, I just hit this and I get to work on something. And also, revising my goals every single night before I go to bed keeps me obsessed. And it forces me to work on them tirelessly, day after day. Because the more you think about something, the more likely it is to come into your life. You might hear me talking about keeping a journal on me, like, that's the stupidest thing ever. Yeah, it might be old fashioned, but if you're not revising your goals daily and planning out your day, you're cooked. Trick your mind into success.
