Chase Fisher walks through visualizing who you'll be in two years, then adopting that person's traits and beliefs now. He argues this future-self picture gives you clarity on what decisions to make and what actions actually move you forward.

To get to the next level of your life, buy a Porsche, do something that you want to do. You have to have such a stupidly, disgustingly strong vision of what you should literally look like. You should be able to see the face of yourself six months, a year, two years in the future of when you have everything that you want. What character traits do they have? What beliefs do they have? Become obsessed with the version of yourself that is doing everything that you want, but at the highest level, and then spend time with them. I mean, literally mentally visualize this version of yourself and try to mimic them. And when you need clarity on something, ask that version of yourself in your head what you should do. Eventually, over time, you're going to become so much like this person that you end up getting the results that you've always wanted, and you literally turn into them. It's great because you're not fantasizing someone else. You're fantasizing a version of you that you can actually become, and that can actually give you clarity. If you do this, it'll be so easy to get to the next level. And every single step of the way, you will have clarity. Write out that vision of what it should be for you and go take action on it, and life will change forever.
