How long after finishing the book do you get married? 2 years, got engaged. How do you propose? Spur of the moment, bro. Shock and awe? Does she have any idea you're going to propose? No, I did not have an idea. Give you the short version. I was in Kansas City, bought a ring, thought I was gonna wait until the season was over to propose. And then I got the ring in the mail and I sat down and had lunch with a mentor of mine. And he was like, why are you waiting so long? You're gonna wait 4 months to do this? 5 months? You just do it the next memorable moment that you get. And I was like, well, Sean's throwing out the pitch at the Cubs game tomorrow. He was like, do it then. And I was like, okay, well, this feels last minute, but let me see if I can make it happen. So I start making calls to— she was up there with USA Gymnastics. I found a number for her point person who put me in touch with the Cubs guy. But he was like, yeah, dude, I'm gonna give you a call back tomorrow morning, which is when the game was. So I didn't know I was proposing until like 3 hours before. I get a call, he's like, game on, we could do it. I got you a jersey with, uh, your last name on it to give her. And so she went out there, threw the first pitch, did a little handstand, and then I walked out there and she was like, Andrew, what are you doing walking on the field? Get out of here. And then I dropped the knee and she freaked out. And then, yeah.
