A fan explains why Attack on Titan shook her worldview. The show's twists forced her to question which characters she rooted for and why, revealing her own biases. It taught her to see multiple perspectives and recognize that everyone has their own story.
I love to find stories that make me feel stupid. I don't wanna feel like I can predict it. I wanna feel stupid. I wanna feel like the rug has been pulled under me and I had no idea where this was going. I trusted it and it flipped. It made me question all of my biases. It made me question my loyalty to which characters. Oh my God, like this is a whole new playing field. So I really liked that as a child because it made me just so much more discerning to perspectives. Everyone has their own stories. Everyone has their different POVs.
