In this YouTube short, Rob Riggle delivers a personal, reflective monologue about the immediate weeks following the September 11 attacks. He describes the nationwide shutdown, the sight of F‑16 fighter jets patrolling the Hudson and East Rivers, and the rare moment of bipartisan unity as Democrats and Republicans sang "God Bless America" on the Capitol steps. He then shifts to the personal toll, recalling families who lost loved ones and the overwhelming grief of standing over the graves of 3,000 victims. Concluding, Riggle emphasizes the collective need to rally together and help in that rare, critical moment.

Chapters

Not many people remember the week or two following 9/11. Everything was shut down. You had F-16s flying up the Hudson River and down the East River. Democrats and Republicans holding hands, singing God Bless America on the steps of the Capitol. But then to hear people that had personal connections, family members, "Hey, what's going on? My son was down there. I had a family member down there." You're standing on the graves of 3,000 people. Nobody knew what to do. You just knew that we needed to rally somehow. We needed to come together. I was in a rare time and place to be able to help.
