This is a short excerpt from a YouTube video titled "Books That Changed My Life: Josh Hawkins & I AM LEADER PT. 2." In this segment Josh Hawkins recounts pre-ordering a book recommended by coach Chris Hoglund, receiving the boxed book (which features 'doors to the library' on the case), and reacting to its artwork—noting an unexpected recurring ice-cream theme.
Pre book, tell me kind of what's going on. I met Chris Hoglund, who is one of the coaches for your program that we're in for my automotive shop. When he would come down and do his visit, for a few days, he would stay at my race car shop. We're just sitting there drinking beer, talking about life. He tells me that you're working on a book and he can't say anything about it, but I need a pre order signed up and. And the book come in and I get this box and open it up and it's got the doors to the. The library on it. And I'm like, holy, that that's awesome. And slide them out of the case. And I just start looking at some of the pictures and. And the art in it. And the first thought that come across my mind was pretty funny. It was like, what is the deal with ice cream? Like, ice cream is a theme in the book for sure.
