Robert Cain talks about the real obstacles in writing and publishing a book, from marketing struggles to the scams that plague the industry. He reflects on what it actually takes to get a book out into the world.
What did you learn in the process of writing the book? I learned how difficult it is to actually finish it, do it, do a good job at it. Just so much just the COVID synopsis to come up with the about the author, you know, marketing publisher, what kind of there's so many scam artists out there that I want to warn anybody that is writing a book or wants to write a book, be careful about marketing people that are going to say they're going to market your book publishers. There's a lot of bad people out there. I didn't get scammed, but it was very close. So tough. So it's tough. It's. Yeah. I mean, they say 85% of people want to write a book in the United States. One percent of the 85 actually finish one. And then it's even lower that the book sells. Oh, yeah.
