A short interview between Chris Collins and Robert Palleschi discussing the book 'The Accidental President: Harry H. Truman and the Four Months that Changed the World.' Palleschi explains that a friend gave him the book after advising him about participating in Wall Street boardroom discussions, and the conversation probes why the book was sent to him.
The book that we're here to talk about today.
Yeah.
The Accidental President Harry H. Truman and the Four Months that Changed the World. How did you. How did you come about it?
Friend sent it to me.
Why did he send it to you?
You know, I find myself in these, you know, boardrooms, you know, down on Wall street with, you know, you know, hundreds of bankers trying to work through situations, and I'm like, I don't speak that language. He, of course, chewed me out, gave me a lecture for a long time, and then Christmas, I got this book.
So what was he chewing you out for? Specifically thinking.
That because I didn't have that pedigree that I couldn't achieve or couldn't accomplish.
