Transcript of a short YouTube conversation (two speakers) about favorite jokes. Speakers cite specific examples that make them laugh: satirical Onion headlines (absurd, literal takes), Norm Macdonald’s extended ‘moth’ bit (praised for timing and storytelling), and a Sam Kinison routine about solving world hunger (praised for its perspective flip and vocal delivery). The transcript preserves speaker labels and repeated lines/disfluencies.

What are some of your favorite jokes?
Some of my favorite jokes from myself or in general, not yourself. Others, I have a lot of favorite onion headlines. My favorite onion headline of all time. And I forget who wrote it, but it was.
Man. Wait, sorry. It's man who likes to move it. Move it. Still searching for perfect song, which is again, so stupid.
So stupid. But great.
But my favorite, My favorite type of joke. My favorite type of joke.
Because you can imagine it. You can imagine this man also discovering the song and being like, oh my God, finally. Or like talking to friends and being like, yeah, I like to move it, move it. But I just. There's nothing for me.
It hits me so hard every time. Another onion headline is archaeologists. Archaeologists discover a race of ancient skeleton people. And so it's just them as if they're like, as if they were skeletons the whole time. It's so stupid. I love stuff like that. Like, stuff like that will always make me laugh.
That's funny. I love. So I think my favorite joke of all time is Norm doing the moth joke.
Oh my God, the moth joke is perfect.
Just. And then the punchline is like.
He left the light.
He left the light on.
And he goes. I, I think the story behind that is they, they just told him going into commercial that the next guest wasn't there and he had to fill five minutes. And so he took this joke that literally is what, like maybe, maybe 30 seconds and strung it out for five minutes. And the wife and the suicide details. Son that's a. Sees his father's a failure, right?
Doesn't recognize his own face in the mirror anymore and hates himself. It's so good. I love that joke.
I can watch, I can watch that.
Like I've, I've, I've shown people videos of that and I'm like, I know it's a long video. Stick with me on this one. And once you reach that point, it's so great.
I love Norm. Then Sam Kenison did a joke about solving world hunger.
I don't know it.
So he. It's so funny. Cuz like early on he, he was on Letterman, had him on. And so he comes out on Letterman and he's like, who's this devil?
Or whatever, screaming.
But he says it's something like he goes into this thing about the commercials where they got the little kid starving and now he hates them or whatever. He's like, you're there. The camera guy. Give him a sandwich, like that thing. And then he transitions into, well, I, I can solve world hunger. He goes stop sending him money. He goes, send them U Hauls. He goes. He goes. We have, you know, move to where the food is. Like, we have deserts in America, too. We just don't live there.
Assholes.
And he's doing this thing with sand. He's like, it's sand. It will always be sand or whatever.
It's just.
It's just. I just love the flip of perspective of, no, stop sending them help, right? Move their. Move their location. Go to where the food is.
That's very. And I can imagine him in, like, him screaming that, too, in the same Kinison voice. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
