Short YouTube clip (Service Driver Revolution) featuring a conversational panel discussing societal views on authority briefly, then focusing on whether service departments should recoup credit card processing fees from customers. Speakers note that some service departments add 1.5–4% fees, and recommend embedding those costs into an across-the-board price increase (e.g., +2.5–3%) rather than a separate surcharge that angers customers. The clip ends with Chris Collins’ call-to-action to subscribe and call in questions or visit offers.chriscollinsinc.com.

I remember when I was in. In kindergarten, I took my whole class on a field trip to my grandpa's fire department, and he drove everybody around in the truck. And like.
Here that, like, it's just such a. There's such a disdain for police and authority and.
Yeah, they're just.
Society doesn't work that way.
They're in a bad spot.
So how, how this.
Kamala, I don't understand for the life of me how that's even an option. She's very unlikable, too. She's just not likable on top of all of it.
It'll be an interesting next few months, that's for sure. All right, ready for this last piece of news?
This is something that I've seen firsthand, witnessed. Service departments are weighing the benefits or drawbacks of recouping credit card fees from customers.
So some service departments are charging anywhere between 1.5 and 4%.
To the customers if they use a credit card.
So can I give a little advice?
Yes. And I. I wonder if it's the same as what I think. Go ahead.
No, go ahead.
I was just going to say that if to me, it's all about. At the end of the day, well, if the profits are going down and everything like that, well, maybe we need to change the prices, but I wouldn't single that out. So if 95% or 90 of your customers use credit cards, I would just raise my prices by 2 and a half or 3%.
Yeah, that's what I was going to say.
Yeah, I figured because I think I got it from you.
It's so dumb to change the subject to customers and leave them with that feeling.
The hardest part is that if you just raise your prices by 3%, there's no discussion. If you have a separate fee they hate opens up a discussion they hate. Right. And I always think about that because we pay tons of tons of money in credit card fees. And the thought of telling our customers that we would have a fee that they have to pay in addition, like, just never enters my mind.
No, it does enter my mind for us to own our own bank.
Oh, I'm all in.
Right? Yeah, that's the only other option. But to like to say to somebody, oh, well, if you pay with a credit card, it's this. And if you. It just. You're putting the focus in the wrong place.
