How did you feel when Elena and Jack were finally reunited in the book?
Oh my gosh, I loved this part in the book. One of the many moments that I cried in this book, but these were happy tears. Jack walked all the way around the half circle and then turned and came back, still marveling. He returned to his starting point. There, he saw a woman. He recognized her. She smiled, and his heart stood still. You watch Jack adore Elena from when they were kids. For decades, you watch him and her slowly fall in love, and you watch him recognize her strength. You watch her battling parts of herself as she's discovering who she is. And I think his love for her was so beautiful to read and such a special experience getting to watch the two of them almost get together, not get together, the angst, like, all of it was what you love in a story. And so, this moment was really special because it was the moment that she finally went to him after he'd been pining away for her.
