Short transcript excerpt of Andrew Bustamante reacting to a book during an unboxing on the @EverydaySpyPodcast video titled "@EverydaySpyPodcast Unboxing I AM LEADER #002". Bustamante repeatedly describes the book as feeling like a personal journal and a gift, emphasizes its "heftiness" and rich, study-worthy content, notes that it requires repeated viewings to absorb, and offers gratitude to Chris for sharing a deeply personal work that challenges the reader to take on assignments and to see themselves as a leader.
This is heftiness.
How incredible is this, man?
This feels like a journal. It feels. It feels like a journal I've always wanted to build but never took the time to build for myself. This is like a little gift inside the book.
And this in and of itself is really good. This is going to be read over and over again. The pictures have to be looked at again and again.
There's just so much here in one.
Experience that it demands more than one experience to pick it all up. I feel totally inadequate paging through this because I feel like what this needs is study, not. Not scanning. And that's only the first part. That's just talking about me. Me now, right where I am now. And the hard part about even opening this book is the fact that nobody ever thinks that they're a leader. So what could possibly. What could possibly be in this book except.
Work? That's an assignment. You're actually creating assignments inside the book. Everything else you read takes you someplace happy. Everything else you read makes you feel like things are easy. Everything else you read makes you feel like you've already succeeded. When you write a book like this, you give away a piece of yourself to everybody who reads it. And I have never felt comfortable giving that part of myself away. And, Chris, you've given a huge chunk of your soul. Thank you for this, Chris.
