If you had to guess a manufacturer that's in the news that we talk about regularly, what brand would that be? Tesla. Tesla's probably right up there. But Ford, Ford is our gift today. It's kind of related to Tesla because it's about the. This first bit of news is about production of the electric F150. The lightning. The lightning. I would love to get one of those for my mom. Maybe not this one because they stop production because there's a battery fire. So they gotta figure out the battery part of the electric car. The batteries catch on fire. Yeah. Caught fire during a pdi. That's pretty cool. Actually, the Tesla batteries catch on fire, doesn't stop them from selling them some great pictures of burned up Teslas on the Internet. Yeah. So currently they are stopped production.
So that's not good for them. They're already far behind Tesla. And then they make money on those.
No.
On a new model like that, they're probably making money. Right? All the. Yeah, all the, the production. Couple years. Right.
Yeah. It's too bad because I, I don't know, I think they did a good job with the marketing on that thing. So. Yeah. So we're, we're taking a pause with the F150. How do you think those do in the snow? I would think okay, but they're all wheel drive.
So I think that you have instant power and good traction. I think, I think that would be a great car for my mom. Yeah. Especially because plowing is not the first priority up in that area. Right. No, but it's snow and then they clean it. Yeah. When it snows it's hard. Yeah. So. And right along with that, ford to cut 3,800 jobs in Europe to shift to electric vehicle production. So just in case anyone's wondering, so they've stopped producing the electric vehicle, but also let go of 3,800 other jobs related to non electric things.
Kind of like us on this building. We're all in.
Ford is committed to the road of electricity. But yeah, 3,800 jobs cut in Europe over the weekend over the next three years. Sorry. But yeah, they're transitioning into the all electric role, but maybe they got to get the all electric thing figured out first. Woof.
